God bless you my friend and brother. Those who have not arrived at your level of peace will find your words strange. But we are with you always and so is our Father. Persevere my friend.

Be strong in the Lord and the Power of His Might.

11, Put on the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil.

12, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13, Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand.

14, Stand therefore,
having your loins girt about with truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15, And your feet shod
with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16, Above all,
taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench
all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17, And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God:

18, Praying always with all prayer
and supplication in the Spirit,
and watching thereunto with all perseverance
and supplication for all saints;

23, Peace be to the brethren,
and love with faith,
from God the Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ.

24, Grace be with all them
that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.
Amen.
Ephesians 6:10-18,23,24

Lord God,
Please continue to abide with and care for uche9aa,
your servant...and His loved ones!

We love you Lord!
We are your witnesses on the earth.
Fill us with your Holy Spirit!
Lead us. Guide us. Protect us!
In the precious Name of Jesus we pray!
AMEN!!! and AMEN!

That's all fine and dandy. Ever think of defending yourselves against the animals killing ya'll?

Why don't ya'll make some dead Muslims? Then, pick up their weapons and make lots more dead Muslims?

It is definitely a more honerable way to die, if you're going to. Don't go down, belly up.

Take some them bastards with ya'!

That doesn't sound like what Jesus wanted us to do willing2, so why would we?

Willing2, I think you'd make a great general for certain.flowerforyou

But Christians have a Great General!

We get our orders from the Father above.:angel:

Now, I personally don't think that I would go down
without a physical fight if my loved ones were threatened
with immediate danger.

I pray for strength and courage to do God's will
at every opportunity in all circumstances.
As His Holy Spirit is our indwelling General.

Thank you for your encouragement.

I'm with you. I believe in self defense. If not for self defense, the Muslims would have taken all of Europe several hundred years ago.

So, if you had a woman and kids to protect, you would just hand them over to get beheaded?

Women who would think their man would do whatever it takes to protect them from harm may read this. If, I was a woman and I read a man would hand me over to the wolves, I'd look for a better man.

For myself, it wouldn't have to be my woman or my kid. I would protect them, as best I could, from the murderous animals.

Could there be a less inappropriate thread to discuss matyrdom or self defense? Ought not we encourage & pray for our brother, who shares his hearts cry and passion for Christ? Uchea9aa, I know what you face, your courage & faith will be rewarded.

"Then conquer we must when our cause, it is just.
And this be our motto, 'In God is our trust'."

Ecclesiastes 3:
A Time for Everything

1, To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2, A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3, A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4, A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5, A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6, A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7, A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8, A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
9, What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
10, I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
11, He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
12, I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
13, And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
14, I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
15, That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
16, And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
17, I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
18, I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
19, For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
20, All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
21, Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
22, Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

That is when you have to make a simple choice.

Who do you love more?
- Yourself
- Your wife/family
or
- God

That's what all to most choices boil down to.

So what if they get killed by some wild animals? What's the loss? If they did as they were suppose to do on Earth, they'll end up in a better place. Never have to feel any more pain of any sort for all of eternity. Would you trade that eternity to save you or your family/friends a few more years here on Earth when it's inevitable we were born to die so to speak?

Thanks for your concern,which i believe came from a genuine heart.I am not a novice in weapon handling as you could see from my profile picture.I am a pastor also.But this battle is not the type that the flesh could fight.Only heaven determines our response.A servant is not greater than his master.We shall endure to the end

That's great to hear you're not a novice in weapon handling, that would come in handy while hunting. But what has God told us in this context of hurting another human being? Did he not tell us to love our enemies? To turn the other cheek? Not to judge? So how is one doing any of just those three by retaliating?

For the first item.
It's a man's responsibility to protect his family from harm.
Never having one, I can understand your point.

This next piece, I copied.

Protect Your Family
Protect your family physically. Thegodly husband is responsible for the physical security of his family. God has given men greater physical strength than women and has also given men a need or desire to be protectors. You are to use this God-given strength to protect your wife and to ensure that she feels secure. She must know that you will protect her even at the cost of your own life. You must be the first into battle, you must be the one who knows that “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). That verse tells me to die in defense of. Defending. Not exposing your belly to be ripped out.

A burglar comes in. You have kids. He wants to rape and sodomize you, your wife and kids. You just gonna' sit back and enjoy it?

Please do share some scriptures from the new testament/new covenant that support "physically defending" your family. Cause again, the only verses I know are to love one another, to turn the other cheek, and do not judge. I include the do not judge, because defense/retaliation is a judgement. It is a punishment on the original action. So please do enlighten us.
