I believe you can feel a connection at first sight,
call it what you will.

I call it she's not wearing a bra. It varies. Connection/reaction same logic.

I believe there can be a special chemistry between two people right from the start that leads to them dating, and marriage much later on, and they may choose to say it was love at first sight for them.

When I see a beautiful woman I have a hard time deciding whether to report her to the local chapter of the Audobon Society, or to fall in love with her.

My brother had once a glimple at Ms. Loch Ness. He says her grace and gentility is unsurpassable. But he did not fall in love with her. (She sure was smitten by him, though. She still carries the torch for him.)

You mean... love resides in the knees? Or the kiester? Not the feet????

You say love is deeper than lust... and I know where lust resides.

Hot, wet, dirty sex?

Close encounters of the first kind.

Nope, its just an illusion.

But what a sweet illusion it is!!

The art of living a good life is believing your sweet illusions. You don't have to be schizophrenic to do so. You can be fully cognizant that a feeling or a perception is an illusion, not reality, yet you can train yourself to choose to fully believe that it's happening.

If I hadn't discovered how to do this, I would be a very, very, miserable man.

This is good belief. I wish the Roman Catholic Church would discard their ideation with the Holy Trinity and the Virgin Birth, and go with this instead.

I kid you not, but I am sure the world would be a better place for it if it did.

it exists if u want it to

that 's how love is whether it is at first sight or the result of a friendship that has blossomed...

No matter what the illusion is eventually; you have to face reality. Eventually the illusion (the honeymoon stage) wears off and suddenly you are very disappointed when you see that person for who they really are. Perhaps people should skip the illusion and be who they really are up front. It would save a lot of time and heartache. Although; this is just my thought. If living an illusion is what you want; who am I to take that away from you Wux?

Cutiepie and Pyxxie have it.

Love is a choice first not a feeling. When you chose to love someone your feelings deepen. If your waiting for your feelings to deepen to be 'in love' you will lose that love when the feelings wane. When you learn to love someone regardless of there lovability, now we are getting somewhere. Because no one will ever be lovable all the time. And when your partner learns that your goIng to love them even when they suck, the chance for everlasting love is born. This requires you to be secure even when your partner falls short in loving you.

Sounds like work? It is but it has the payoff we all are really looking for.

Yes, it can happen. Not very often, but you can feel a deep connection to someone immediately and it ends up being real.
