Soufie and Krupa...This poem was written by Divyesh Shah...I think it was written for the two of you, it's called "Travel to the Place"... Travel to the place  Where mind set to peace,   No one can see,  Feel us free.   Travel to the place  Where we can breathe,  Fill our desire,   We wish; we aspire.   Travel to the place  Where we have silence,  Flower of fragrance,  And nature to admire.   Travel to the place  Where we can write,  Lines of rhyme,   At any time.   Travel to the place  Where we have enough space,   Work without race,   No tension on face.   Travel to the place  Where we can dance,   Sing at glance,   Bit of time to romance.   Travel to the place  Where we spread love,   Freedom to serve  And land to move.   Travel to the place  Where we can live,   Of joy and sprinkle its grace,   And do anything, anywhere. Sowwy Ruthie, his eye is on the goal :-) As it should be. He has had so many offers to stop along the way, I cannot talk him into it, he wants only to get here. I think the nerves are settling a bit for him though, car is handling well, and the trailer.. he did say it was a good thing he stopped when he did as it would have been another 200 miles of desert, so thank goodness for that. Co-pilot Chatka is a trouper. Does her duty then jumps back in the car, like, 'Let's boogie!'

Yay!! He said he saw all sorts of cars/trucks dying by the side of the road over it, but his car sailed through! Good to know beauty314, Shasta is my least favorite part because going over the dam is SO narrow, one lane, yikes!

Thanks kids. Apparently I made it into la's cruces new Mexico....at least that is what the chick at the beer store said. The dog is happy and after getting peed and pooped...she is rolling furiously on the bed. I have stripped down to a beer and my glasses and just relaxing. Gotta say...really pretty town. Thanks for the well wishes guys. I am gonna need em when I hit los angeles. :) Dont forget to go for a swin in the ocean for me sweetie!!! I know how much you love the ocean!!

In for the night in Santa Nella, CA. Apparently recovering from the Los Angeles welcome party. He found a DelTaco within walking distance, so all is well :-) As I recall Santa Nella is upper valley wine country.

Dont forget to go for a swin in the ocean for me sweetie!!! I know how much you love the ocean!! You know, before he came here the first time, he was SURE the shark from Jaws was going to crawl right up on the beach and snack on him. But, as it happens, he would go to the beach every day to hang out. I am thinking it was the shark that was more scared :-)
