He just passed Tombstone, AZ. He said every single rest stop has been closed. Not real hospitable. And he has seen bigger rocks than he has ever seen in his life. His copilot Chatka, is sleeping through it all :-)

Have a great trip Krupa! Relax and enjoy the scenery...I did a 6,000 mile roundtrip a couple of yrs ago..I know you can do it!! The secret is to pace yourself.. Sophie must be on pins and needles waiting!!!

He is 279 miles from Los Angeles now. He will try and find a motel before then :-) What a sweetie you are Johnn, to call him on the road! He nearly got tricked near Tempe, apparently I-10 splits 3 ways there, but he is tight with the GPS lady. Not like you can sue her though.

Ya, I update it each night when he lands somewhere :-) The stretch he is on now, is the desertiest, so not much happening for a long while, he sets his cruise control and leaves the air at 2, for better gas mileage. I told him he has to eat all his fruits and veggies before the Califiornia border or they will drag him from his car and stake him out for the ants. (I actually was swarmed by armed guards at the Oregon/California border because I pulled into the truck lane for customs..there were signs everywhere saying not to. BUT, I was following a UHaul, that was getting checked, and I had the only key to open the doors. Good thing I look harmless.)

So....I touched down in Ehrinville Arizona ...not sure where its at. The dog was baking in the 108 sun pouring through the windshield. Got a very nice room at Best Western. Pictures to follow ..... You're up woman. Make it so.... :)
