What does the quote directly above have to do with anything – those EOs were there for all the presidents since JFK and some of them have to do with FEMA – you know, like full scale disaster that requires a military complement to direct, protect, and secure the safety and property of a devastated population – you know?

It has to do with the end of America which is the title of this thread.
It's not all about Obama.

We can't blame it on one person.

America today is a different country. It has changed. I don't recognize it.

yes, much larger, much more populated, much more diverse, no slavery, no powerless voiceless women

I dont recognize it either, other than recognizing that it inevitably changes with time,,,,

Perhaps you are not old enough to see the changes.

Last week my niece was stressed out worrying about getting a car seat for her baby. She is about to give birth and the law states that you cannot leave the hospital with your new born baby until you prove to them via an inspection of your car, that you have a proper car seat.

This is so much crap.

This is not the same world. Too much government control of our personal lives.

No wonder so many people are having their children at home, and home schooling them.

And if you respond with "they are only protecting us" I'll beat my head against the wall. frustrated

To them, I say, do me a favor, DON'T PASS LAWS TO PROTECT ME.

I am sick to death of all these stupid laws and rules passed "for my protection."

Ill say thanx for protecting me,, I Guess thats the difference

for whatever reason, because I know humans are flawed, I Really dont feel I Would be better off or safer 'on my own' in a word with no rules or protections other than whatever 'individuals' feel like doing,,,,

You are over protected. That gives them power over you. You give up certain freedoms when you say "protect me" "Feed me."

That is what slaves do. Slaves are property. They are not free to be responsible for themselves.

Some people like being slaves, being fed, being protected.

Others like owning slaves.

Its your choice of course.

HAAA

I dont say 'feed me',, I say give me the opportunity to feed myself and noone steps up

BIG DIFFERENCE

in the meantime, I dont have too much false pride to accept the help that is there,,,

I dont think its the age as much as the experience. I personally believe possibly minorities have a longer history of 'struggle' and lack of protection that enables someone like me to be grateful it has changed towards MORE PROTECTION,,,,

the things people are complaining about now, are not new for most of the minority community, so perhaps thats why most I know are not seeing any of these things as 'the end'

because we have for generations already seen worse time and time again and got through it,,,
