This thread got waaay tooo much griping and not nearly enough chicks throwing themselves at me. Back on topic....people who b!t*h and run thier yap holes when they should be loving me instead. I am forgainst it.

I agree. I feel that not only is this person an active participant in the relationship but these types of conversations lead to an increase in intimacy. Being able to verbalize your thoughts and feelings with one another (whether it is to agree or to agree to disagree) increases the connection between partners. Of course, as long as at the core you both share certain values, such as, respect and acceptance of one another.

You don't want somebody you are arguing with to feel defensive, you want them willing to be reasonable with you. If you are screaming at them you have lost any chance for that.

It seems some people will drag on a dead argument in order to continue on in conversation with that person, in some weird way it is the only way they can feel flirty or welcome to engage with convo...as long as people can have a civilized discussion or debate they should be able to limit their feelings. A good debate does not get emotionally involved.

But a Fair debate works better without too much emotional attachment, which doesn't make sense, because there is no debate worth having without some sort of emotional relationship. I guess you have to have an open mind to be willing to engage in such lengthy arguments.

Well you can either have make-up sex or simply have make-out sex without the hassles of arguing. Ever been having make up sex and the other person is still talking about the issue and kills the make-up sex in the middle of what was nice.
