Does arguing help you feel flirty with someone? If someone's cute and you start kidding but debating, is it flirtatious for you? Sometimes these types of relationships start out cold but then attract you to one another. Some people like it feisty.

I don't mind a natural debate or small bickering but not intrigued by a constant banter at all. Just noticing in some threads that heavy debates than run on and on and yet run nowhere, the line to agree to disagree is never drawn. It seems like perhaps there is an underlying satisfaction or attraction involved. What say you peeps of mingle?

Nope....complete turn off for me. Like switching off a light, I simply disconnect and cut off emotionally.

If I want to argue...I can just call my ex.

I don't mind small differences of opinions... but argueing......I refuse at this point.

Anyone who don't agree with me can kick thier own @$$ to the curb cause I won't waste the time.

Well I have to say I disagree with your opinion, lol JK. No I think it is good to have a strong opinion about what you believe in ( anything, not speaking religion )

When people stand their ground it shows confidence, that can be a turn on, but I'm not into fighting at all. Some threads like religion and others I see same people back and forth, and I wonder if that makes them crush in a weird semantic way. It's not unheard of

The sooner you accept that I am right and everyone else is wrong...the easier it will be to get along.

Hahahaha, hey that's not nice. I'm just boggled by the constant banter...it goes nowhere and yet they thrive on it as though it's their hearts burning desire.

Yea, I stay out of the religion and politics threads now, people don't view things the way I see them, even the slightest bit. I get crushed by people all the time, so I'm used to it. I'm me, take it or leave it, it's their call. I'm not trying to be someone I'm not, I'm the same in person as I am on the internet. Some debate is fun and good, because sometimes you learn a side from the other, but on and on crap just never gets you anywhere, therefore...turn off.

I actually like a debate between me and my lover. I dated a girl who just agreed with me cause she saw no point in getting into a debate. I'm talking she would set her own beliefs and values and opinions aside just so she didn't have to debate anything. I would plead with her to just share her own opinion but she wouldn't do it. Drove me crazy. Lol. Guess I like opinionated women. Tis my curse. Haha!

I don't want a relationship where it is a constant argument all the time. I do like a relationship where she and I do have common beliefs, opinions and such. However, I also like a woman to stand by how she feels and what she believes, even if it contradicts with my own feelings. I believe that if two people can accept one another and love each other the way they are, then you can have those healthy debates. And when it gets heated, hot make up anger sex is rather awesome!bigsmile

I can only take so much debate before I let it go. It is like beating a dead horse.

i'm a fan of a healthy debate, where both are contributing and
growing and learning from it. back and forth banter that
goes nowhere other than to keep making your own point over
and over serves no purpose to me, entirely a waste of time
and brain cells.

I prefer to talk something out properly. I hardly argue. It solves nothing. I prefer to just go make him a curry instead. Far less drama.

Yeah an un-opinionated person is soooooooo boring. Bring some element to the table, please.

Yeah it's the on and on crap I don't get, It's like are you arguing to flirt or just arguing because you are too dumb to hear the point that was stated 20x already. That's where I get confused.

I don't mind a debate with an end. Endless arguments are boring.

Yes I think debate can be quite fun, but eventually when it hits a brick wall it's like there must be some other motive to this arguing

You only have so much evidence. After that you are grasping at straws and just need to cut it off.
