Idk but it's not gonna change even if it's wrote about on a public forum. If you want that to change, then you're gonna have to be a huge role model for advertising safe dating. Prolly the men are confused by what they see as role reversal and can not handle it. Some men have said to me before they feel like less of a man if they can not "pay" for the date and support their lady and what not. Its just the way they were raised. So sometimes when we do try and pay, its like they refuse anyways. In a sense they can't handle it because its sort of a blow to their self esteem. |

"No, I don't eat meat" "How about we go for a...eh...you don't drink either, do you?" "No, I don't drink" Then she walked away. |

Coincidentally...i mentioned something along those lines in an email to someone earlier. I've been given more of a hard time whilst growing up from women than i ever was from men. How many here have been given 'the look' from a female clinging onto her man as you've walked past them? Or bailed up in the toilets simply because their boyfriend eyeballed you? Yep..been in a few cat fights over men...and i wasn't even interested in them! I laugh about it now, but as a young 20yr old...it was frightening at times. |

I've been asked out by women or women approch me most of my life. It strokes my ego and gives me confident at the sametime. At the sametime it say alot about those women. They're secure, have good self esteem, know what they want and go after what they want. Having had those experince first hand. Those women have more confidence,guts and courage than some men. Surely if I am a man, I must have more balls than women. It makes it less intimating for me to approcah women or get rejected by some women. The rest is just building repore or getting to each other better. If a woman is interested in me, i dont have to try so hard. Just be myself. Some guys just dont get it.... |

Double standard in my experiences with marriage is when the (ex)wife can go do whatever she wants, but when I want to do something with others (friends, well, the ones I used to have) she would get all uptight about it and throw a hissy fit. That's just one example, there's many others. Hence why...I'm never getting..married..again. I've had 2 marriages/divorces and I refuse to do the BS again.
