I had a blind date last week, 20 minutes into the woman threatened to smack me for being a wiseazz. I have no idea what I said/did that was wiseazzry. Do I come off as a wiseazz? And what is with all the smacking? Do other guys get smacked as much as I do? Is it the type of woman I go out with, or do they all do it?

I personally don't slap anyone, but perhaps this woman just didn't get your sense of humor. Don't worry about it, it was a blind date, and your not emotionally involved, so get back on the saddle and try to find someone who does understand your sense of humor. Good luck to you.

Ohhh hell don't feel bad the last guy I was with for 6 months could not take my sense of humor and always ended up butt hurt over it....shshhs some people just don't have a sense of humor at all...

Well, how much joking and playing were you doing if any at all? A sense of humor is a wonderful thing, but some people can take it to mean you are not serious at all if you do it too much. perhaps you were kidding around and she took it to mean you were mocking her or just not a really serious individual which perhaps she was looking for. Not saying you did any of that.. she could have just been very sensitive or morose.

That is when the smacking threats started. Although, this happened after she lectured me on how Obama is destroying the county and I pointed out in every poll- Americans favour Socialism, but if you call it Socialism they think it is Communism and freak out- cuz dey stoopid.
