I think the implication is faulty all the way around

(aside from the notion that someone can 'give' their grade to someone else)

the usual librals want conservatives to 'give away' their money to less deserving

and conservatives dont want those who 'do nothing' to have their money,,,,,

the ASSumption is that those in need are that way because they have 'played' and not 'worked hard' like those who arent in need,,,,

You asked a question, I answered......Is it that you don't like my "insite" or is it simply hate?...Why are you trying to make issues into liberal vs conservative? Why is it always one way or the other for you? Why do you do this?...It's you turn to answer your own questions Singme....

Quoting Singme:
"Some people hate others simply for being too liberal. Others hate people for being too conservative. People constantly try to make all issues liberal or conservative.
Who knows.. maybe one of them will give us some insight."

Yes, you did give an answer and I asked you a question based on that answer.

I certainly do not think that working hard to get a 4.0, or anything else, is conservatism. I know many people, both liberal and conservative, who work incredibly hard for what they want. What I'm trying to understand is why you think that's something only conservatives do.

This is why I hesitate to debate with you Singme...you throw a blanket over everything and you alone choose the color...Understand this...I answered your question to the best of my ability based on what I believe is the reason SOME people turn issues into a left vs right argument, NOT based on my personal feelings...I gave what I considered a good example of why people do what you asked.....

Of course! I get it now!

If it was a liberal that worked hard and earned, she'd be more than happy to give half her grade point to the Conservative that partied, sat on his assend, didn't do the work.

That's the difference, no?

What's really going on here is more spin...the libral "spinning and pinning" it on the conservative while pretending to be neutral or above it all....laugh

noone is really above it all, if they have an opinion, they have a 'spin' because they are going to present the pov that best supports their own opinion

or we wouldnt even have the 'political' jokes,,,which also involve spin,, by definition,,

I just got back from Belize. We were chatting with one of the locals there who were giving us the local history, flavor, etc., and he mentioned.

"A big difference between here and the US is that if you don't work here, the government doesn't pay you."

Ah, so you're unable to explain your answer, because it isn't how you personally feel? That's all you needed to say.

So, how do you personally feel?

Then again, some conservatives brag about how they're so much more charitable than liberals are.. donating their money and time way more.

I think some people just like to get into pissing contests about who does more.

I gave up trying to explain the moral of stories.
Liberal comprehension on is extremely limited.

Well that's all well and good, common sense. but what does it have to do with the topic?

You don't understand why I was asking you to explain your response earlier? Why you thought that it was just conservatives who worked hard? If you can't understand that, it's going to be tough trying to have a discussion with you at all.

Im liberal enough to feel we should all be 'giving' to the progress and maintenance of our community

Im conservative enough to feel we shouldnt mess with the marital definitions.

I think the conversation starts off wrong when we discuss the 'label' instead of the view because it does assume that all people under that label feel the same way about every issue,,,

which is probably not true,,,

There was nothing in my original post to indicate I think just conservatives work hard...Your accusation is out of line and baseless...
