Hi Carol, I don't think we've gotten to meet yet, although your pals here sure take your name in vain enough! lol...Gladta meetcher! Send some of that rain up here! We're drier than the Wicked Witch of the West on prom night up here near Dallas! Well, here's an update on the Zoosk experience - I deactived and deleted my account there. So, three women wrote me mail, I guess they wanted to meet me but the software there only showed me about 5 words then cut it off. When I tried to write back, it offered me the exciting opportunity to send them money. The advertisements called it free online dating. What kind of dating is it when you can't talk to your potential dates??? So, I cancelled and wrote them a nasty-gram and when I get a chance, I'm going to google "zoosk reviews" and write a really "good" one for them everywhere online I see it reviewed. Talk about bait and switch! Don't even try Zoosk, it's a rip off. Bob |

Hi! Happy Friday! (like I ever get a Friday! Working every weekends kinda turns my Mondays into Fridays, except I work Mondays too!)
Well, I'm going to my first "meet" on Saturday with a nice lady I met here! I have to admit it's slow, but there are good people on the dating part of this site, if they are active members. I even have another lady I hope to be talking to over this next week from here too! I hope everyone has a good weekend planned, it's gonna be hot hot hot and I expect to be pretty well wrung out by the time Monday comes! Bob |

 I have several dates from here just nothing panned out in the long run....that is when I was looking lol  Myself got a busy weekend with grand kids...getting my granddaughter today she is 9 and going to stay with me the whole weekend...Then we are babysitting baby Wyatt tomorrow night...  So for me it is a grand babies weekend.....

Humm what ya having done oldhippie?...... I'm off now just waiting on finding out where my granddaughter is so I can get her... Well believe it or not I had my left big toenail permanently removed this time. It came back and was still bad and ingrown. Once I get my kidney I won't be able to fight off an ingrown infection and could lose my toe. Much rather lose my toenail so off it goes! It got real exciting when they stuck needles in my toe to deaden it.  EDIT: Gotta do my right big toe as well.

No they won't, I am having them kill the nail bed roots when they yank them. I don't want to worry about losing a toe all the time, life can be difficult enough sometimes. |

Ohh I hear you I have a step sister that had a liver transplant about 10 years ago. So far all is still going great for her...She had a few bumps in the road but for the better part she has been in good health...

Ouch, there is no panacea for a liver transplant like there is dialysis for kidneys. I hope and pray all goes well forever for her.

Yeah me too they told her that it would only last about 10 years... So far still going strong... if anyone deserves the best out of life it is her... She is a awesome person...

Hopefully they'll have another lined up by then. Yes, your body starts rejecting as soon as the transplant is in, the drugs just slow it down some. I've heard of peoples' transplants lasting 15 years though.
