Topic: Do you believe in Satan? | |
---|---|
So many people worship Satan as the God of this world, and the statue of Liberty is said to represent Lucifer... Do you think these entities exist? Are they fallen angels or just aliens of some kind? Do they live in the bowels of the earth or beneath the volcanoes? |

I think it was when he convinced all of humanity that he was God.

when Christianity or rather Catholicism was first introduced it was implemented as a form of policing method (keep the poor and stupid in fear of punishment in the afterlife) much like telling your children if they don't behave the boogieman will get them.
during this time was when druidism and other so called occult practices were in high popularity in fact it was a struggle between which faith would become the more dominant so in order to make the pagan faiths seem more macabre and dangerous than they actually are the catholic church took one of the gods of the pagans (the green man) who was considered both a god of fertility and of the forest who had the lower body of a goat (hooves and fur) and an upper body of a human with a long beard (goatee) and large antlers nubbed the antlers down to make small horns and proclaimed him to be "the horned one" AKA Satan as a result of the turmoil and bloodshed against both pagans and papists alike the influence of the catholic church in England managed to sway the king at that time to ally with the pope declaring all acts of heracy an act against the crown and offenders would be put to death (as such the witch trials began) so in short no i do not believe satan or god or jesus exists due to the actions taken during such time after all isn't "god" meant to be the only judge jury and executioner? and as such why would the catholic church feel so threatened by another faith to carry out a full scale war against an opposing faith and not leave it up to god? and i will also remind all reading this some of the people who they executed were nothing more than herbal doctors (cure ailments with herbs and other plants) also for anyone wondering i myself am of a pagan faith |

I think it was when he convinced all of humanity that he was God. possibly I imagine a devil 'god' would mislead the world into feeling they should have and do whatever made them feel good,,,, |

I think satan is more symbolic.
The evil entities that control earth are the low vibrating alien/elite who have spoon fed us the lies. Satan's deception...materialism and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. And we bought it hook, line and sinker. I don't think they 'live' in the earth, I think their multidimensional. But then, so are we. |

If you define aliens and angels as non human intelligent beings I guess so. But aliens and angels were probably here longer than humans, so maybe we are the "aliens." |

No i don't but in the OT he is mentioned after the Babylonian exile.Matter of fact satan was one of Gods angels that did what God commanded him to do according to hebrew faith, which by the way was before christianity.
Christians claim he was the talking serpant even though genesis never mentions it.The christians over time have made satan out to be what they want him to be. So depending on what you choose to believe is how you would see satan. |

Revelations 12 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. |

Moses was ordered to fashion a Serpent in the Desert during the Serpent-Plague,and whoever beheld the Serpent was saved! The Serpent in Antiquity was the Symbol of Wisdom until the Religionists subverted it! |

And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? Nobody said the serpent wasn't "wisdom". The "serpent" in general isn't "evil" or anything of such. It's not a symbol of evil or anything foul. So no, "religionist" if that's what you wish to call them have subverted nothing. |

An interesting story line in the movie also.... the ship Prometheus takes the crew to a planet far away where the 'engineers' exist. The engineer's of us....the creator gods. |

Besides,I have seen Christians go on Snake-Killing Sprees for the simple reason, that the Snake, according to the,was the Impersonation of the Devil,Evil! And you try tell me the Religionists haven't subverted anything? |
