I know the pain you are going through worrying for your son. Two weeks ago my 18 year old son was hit in the back of the head with a gun and told to get to the ground during a robbery.
A week later four of his tires were slashed in front of my house by I believe a different group of kids. I have a baby boy who needs his heart repaired on Aug 9th, so I have had my hands full here with worry and all. I have been trying to hand this all over to the Lord knowing I can not change some things in this world. I love my children dearly and they too have been my life as well. I brought my children into this area thinking that we could get better jobs, and they'd have a better life. I am now questioning where I live, and I'm thinking I am more of a country bumpkin who enjoys the peace and serenity of the mountains.

I will pray for a quick recovery for your son, and a healing for you as well because I DO know how you feel.

well, today he is much better, he is off morphine, and now he is on prescription pain killers, he is smiling and joking around
I feel much better to see him smile, and with some of that anger gone, I hope things continue like this, because is a hard situation for him, I do understand that, everyone has been so mercy full with their prayers, and I have fate on prayers
I know it had to do with his smile today.
