We all want to believe in that fairy tale type of love is out there. So when they come our way saying all the things we want to hear and at the right time. Damn if we don't just forget our senses and our mind goes right out the door. We want to believe so bad that someone will love us forever and we will have that little white picket fence out front raise a couple of kids and all will be great. But then we wake up to the harsh reality of life and find out how much it sucks. And wonder why others can not just be honest with us. Instead there are a choice few that think they must play that game it makes them feel as if they are somebody. Knowing they can twist you anyway they want to and you will follow.

But now we we look at the whole pic. Who let them get that far without questioning them seems it was us and only us. Because we wanted to believe them soo bad. The lonelyness was taking over and we wanted someone to be with us. So we grab at the first one that pays attention to us. Awww first red flag they said all the right things lol

When ever you have the gut feeling that something is not right but you can't seem to figure it out step back cause most likely it is not.


But regardless we will still have to pick up the pieces and move on. Just goo slow girl. Take your time to get to know them.

I don't know -- I've had one really great girlfriend, and dozens and dozens of bad ones -- and I can't blame it all on the bad ones, even, because I'm sure a lot of it was my fault, too -- I've made a lot of stupid mistakes and done a lot of dumb things in relationships.

But I'll never get to the point where I can honestly tell myself "they're all bad" -- because I know they're not, I know everybody is different -- and you can't condemn an entire gender until and unless you've tried them ALL -- anything else is overgeneralizing and blanket statements -- and you wouldn't want people to judge YOU by what someone else did x number of years ago and 1000 miles away....

I mean, it's OK to give up if you feel that strongly about it --but do so in the awareness that you're ultimately being unfair to yourself and a lot of others, unless you're truly content in your solitude -- and then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about it anyway.

I've given up in meeting anyone here, but I'm still out there trying other sites -- and I'll never lump all women into the "bad" category -- and maybe that's because I did get to see what a really good one was like, for a few years -- and that gives me hope that there might be another one out there....

ive bought my own car i do everything on my own and i plan to further my education soon but yet i can find a guy to treat me the way i know i should be treated..

but yet im on a few dating sites and i get creepy old men who still live with their mother lol
