Topic: 50 reasons to be ashamed (and not a fan) of Jesus | |

??? What are you talking about? 2 Corinthians 5:17 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. When we are first born into this world, we are born of the flesh. When one is "born again", they are born of the spirit. So, yes we may still be in this flesh temporary, but it is merely our housing for now. Cowboy...trying to askew from the topic in hand by presenting useless passages won't work...you have to present a passage in which Jesus call Mary "Mother"....if not...then follow by example and accept that you have to hate your Mother to be a disciple I have already give that. 21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. And before you go off twisting words, I wish to point out something. Jesus said "are these which hear the word and do it." Jesus is speaking to a specific person(s) shown by the word "these". If it was on a note for general pople, it would say "those" eg/. those which hear the word of God, and do it. Cowboy...these passage you are posting is not Jesus referring to Mary as "Mother" you would have no problem finding a passage when Jesus called God "Father"....now all you have to do is find a passage where he called Mary "Mother" if you can not accomplish this....then it's time to sign the surrender papers ....and admit that nowhere in the many different versions of the bible that you jump back and forth between did Jesus ever call Mary Mother it's one of the truths about Jesus that it's time for you to accept..that Jesus was showing hatred towards his Mother and expect the same from his disciples Already have, 21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. Jesus were referring to his disciples as being his Mother not Mary .....I wonder which one of those Disciples's womb Jesus popped out of ...or even worst which tallywhacker ou ou ouchhhhhhhhhhhhh Cowboy...you tried every deceptive trick in the book....but it's now time to sign the surrender papers .... Jesus was being disrespectful to his Mary....in front of the crowd and in front of his disciples ...and expect the same of you towards your Mother ...oops I meant towards that "Woman" that birthed you |
|

|
If my memory serves me well- when actually addressing her, Jesus refers to her as "Woman" "Woman" in Hebrew and in Medieval times means "Wench" look upon thy son that thy savagery has spawn Wench....fetch me water that I may turn into wine to drown out thy sorrow of hatred for thee |

Your right, no more complaining since thats all you post. BACK ON TOPIC!!! ((((( GOD ROCKS! ))))) what I'm saying is that all of your posts so far has been in the form of Gibberish such as you claiming that "it's all about you" .... Jesus would make that same claim "that it's all about him" and since this is a religion forum I have no problem with that...until you start going all psycho and start complaining about others posting gibberish |

It doesn't mean "wench". Maybe in medieval times, but this was long before then. Cowboy...what would be the difference if Jesus addressed his Mother as..."Woman" or "Wench"? .... Wench - 1 a young woman : girl b: a female servant 2 a lewd woman : prostitute She was neither a female servant nor was she a prostitute, that's why he didn't refer to her as a wench. A wenche and a woman are not specifically the exact same. A wench is a type of woman, not a woman in general. |

Wench - 1 a young woman : girl b: a female servant wow...see even you are now claiming that Mary wasn't a female servant to God.....no wonder Jesus never called her Mother Cowboy...sign the papers |

Wench - 1 a young woman : girl b: a female servant wow...see even you are now claiming that Mary wasn't a female servant to God.....no wonder Jesus never called her Mother Cowboy...sign the papers Here you are again taking things out of context. That definition says nothing about God or being a servant of God. Definitions are secular definitions as you very well know, so therefore it automatically is known to be a general "servant", not specifically a servant to God. |

We are not "servants" of God. We are God's children. We are servants to the Lord. Notice that is why the different titles/names are used when referring to the same God. Words have different meanings when used in different ways. But still nevertheless, this definition does not say "servant of God", it says servant. |

We are servants to the Lord. either way Jesus's Mother Mary was a female servant and according to your definition...that makes her a wench and a lewd Woman sounds like you hate his Mother ...that makes you prime material to be one of his disciples What are you talking about? Again, she was a servant to the Lord, not just merely a "servant" in like a kingdom set up on Earth or anything. Context funches, context. Gotta love yah though, you're awesome man. |

That's not an insult, that's a type of person, a descriptive word of what the person is doing/does. What's your point? |
