I have a theory that ALL of the people who don't use real pics are actually just one person using 6722 multiple accounts, in order to make the odds better for himself/herself.

It makes perfect sense until he/she tries to go out with himself/herself, at which point something explodes and all the multiple identities go to MySnakes, where he/she/they already have accounts anyway.

I also wonder if maybe people are hiding, I know my pics are about 6 months old, the detail was very good and they were clear when I had them stored in my yahoo mail. they turned bad when I moved them here have no idea why. (*_*)

why is it that when you message most people like for instance i have been messaging the girls that i think have the same similarites and i never get a message back why is that is it too hard for them to say sorry your not my type but we can still talk if i dont get a message back after sending to like 20 different people how do you think that would make you feel how do you know if you have not tried anything. could someone answer that?

I have heard that from a lot of guys. I mostly only email people who participate a lot in the forums, and in my experience those people always at least email back an acknowledgment.

But imagine you are this woman who sets up an account, looking for someone with certain traits. You aren't looking for random penpals, you are just looking for 'the one'. And then you get a ton of unsolicited email from guys you are not interested in (based on their email, or their profile). Would you feel obligated to send back acknowledgment emails to every person who wrote you? I wouldn't.

So don't take it personal, Meet. Just keep looking. If you participate in the forums more, it will make you more visible to potential partners.

I don't have a pic up by choice. A lot of us, in a way, are private people, and don't want all everything of us posted for the world to see. Anytime I start correspondind with people, I'll give them my email address, and tell them I'll be happy to send a picture to them at an email address they give me. I've done this several times, so a few people here know what I look like. And my pic was taken dressed in "work regalia" to show the recipient that, yes, I am gainfully employed. And if I was gonna send a fake pic, I would have chosen someone who looks a helluva lot better than me!
