Topic: why do women love to shop so much? | |
---|---|
Also women do the majority of the shopping for families in general so of course they are seen as spending the majority. But you think they personally are using the baby food, cat food and litter, dog food, their husband's everythings, the bills, etc. |

Hum the reasons the study's show it is women that do most of the shopping is due to they are shopping for the whole family.... Someone has to do the shopping that needs to be done and it has normally all fallen back on the women.... Humm so it seems it is the women that this task falls back on... Myself, I'm not much of a shopper as far as just shopping when I don't need something.. I'm one that normally knows what I'm looking for and will go get it and get out... And yeah I do Walmart that way when I go I can get my grociers and what ever else I need in one place... I'm not a clothes shopper give me my jeans and t-shirts and I'm a happy camper... Hummm no man giving me money I make my own and always have.... Put a man in a sporting good store and watch them spend more then the women do....lmao.... |

more women shop than men because of traditional roles. of course we're in twenty twelve and those stereotypes don't apply to everyone. like did you know not all women are housewives anymore?! yes. yes. all the women of mingle break all these stereotypes. you're on a dating site, aren't you? now shut up. quit your bitching. |

Google this>>>>Women account for over 80 percent of consumer spending, about $5 trillion dollars annually, according to the U.S. Census Bureau<<<<< cause to many sites talk about it from what i read rather then sending 1 link if you know how to cut and paste :) Ah, so you were having trouble copying and pasting. Here's the article I found. Well, part of it, as I am not registering for the website. http://www.antiessays.com/free-essays/179836.html Men Vs Women Submitted by ronnieshawhite on March 6, 2012 Category: Miscellaneous Words: 437 | Pages: 2 Views: 118 Report this Essay Men vs. Women: Shopping Women account for over 80 percent of consumer spending, about $5 trillion dollars annually, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. So it’s pretty safe to say that women like to shop. Men, on the other hand, tend to go shopping only when they really need that item. When they do go shopping it is more of a fast mission compared to women, who tend to take their time and socialize. Shopping differs between men and women and it is in a drastic way. According to the article ‘Men Buy, Women Shop’ “Women are happy to meander through sprawling clothing and accessory collections or detour through the shoe department. They glide up glass escalators past a grand piano, or spray a perfume sample on themselves on their way to, maybe, making a purchase.” The study also titled ‘Men Buy, Women Shop’ done by Wharton Jay H. Baker Retail Initiative and the Verde group showed that women enjoyed shopping more than men. A woman in the study even said “I love shopping.” In my experience with watching women shop, they seem more invested in the shopping experience on my dimensions. They enjoy they social aspect of going to the store either alone or with friends. Talking to the sales associates and asking for opinions on the how clothes fit and what would look nice with a certain item if with friends they will play dress up for each other to find a “cute” outfit to buy. Theses behaviors differ for men. When a guy needs something from the store, this is all they go to get. Men don’t want to be in the store longer than necessary. In ‘Men Buy, Women Shop’ a man commented and said “We’re going to this store and we buy it and we leave because we want to do something else.” Most me shop this way because they see going to the store as a task to be done and move on with their day. Men are on a mission when they go to the store and want to be in and out as fast as possible with nothing to distract them. Though both sexes shop, they differ in the way they shop... You missed my point. You brought up the study. I asked you specifically what it was and what the URL was for it, but you refused to provide it, even though it would have made sense for you to do so. So here, I copied and pasted it for you. I'm guessing that's what you were were talking about? |

Well, to answer your question, you know them shops that sell sex toys? Well......................*cough cough* ;)

Enter the front of any store that sells clothes, and more often than not, the women's clothing is the first thing that a shopper sees. Now, why is that?

Enter the front of any store that sells clothes, and more often than not, the women's clothing is the first thing that a shopper sees. Now, why is that? Because women are in reality the ones that does the main shopping...Not arguing with that.... Just trying to make it clear that just because women are the main shoppers it is not always due to all women like to do is shop! It is due to women are the ones that the men think are suppose to do all their shopping as well.....therefore women shop more due to they are shopping for the whole family... So why would the stores not cater to the women they are doing the shopping....cause the men suck at shopping for the family...lmao |

True but funny story
I walked out of store towards my car. I hear a man yell at me, "I ain't never seen that before!!" I know atrocious English granted double negatives and all for our literary company reading this. Yes, this means you, jk, love everyone hear.(haha I know wrong usage of here)Anyways, I look at the man and I said, "Huh, what a female walk into a store in 5 minutes with what she needed and nothing more?" with a dumb a@S look on my face.(I am sure of it). The man yelled back at me, "YEP!!" I said, "Well now you've seen all, then, I reckon!!" I thought it was humorous though. |

I hate shopping, it's yucky. To many peole to many things to choose from. i just want to get it and get out. But because I can;t ever find what I want it's just never easy. Yuck Yuck Yuck. My mother sent me shopping for clothes today, she gave me money and sent me off with my eldest daughter. I came home 4 hours later, with not one single thing. I was frustrated and bored to death, and now because I couldnt find anything I have to go again tomorrow what the heck do we need new clothes for anyway, if the others still fit we shouldnt have to shop Ok I feel better now. I've had my whinge for the day |

nah sorry cheer up that status would be for americans(no punt taken ladies) but did u look up australia stastics, men here love their man toys, we shop for the toys that come with the man that knows how to work it..... Sorry ladies but us aussie chicks do most of the work cause the only muscle that some aussie guys use is the bend of the elbow for the beer to reach the mouth...(jks) don't want them thrown in me to the bottom of the pit... But come on honesty hurts.. I don't know many aussie blokes who would stay at home rather than head off to the pub. Most of us girls get to mow the lawn, paint the house and whatever else we need if we want to see it done. No point hanging around thinking they might get up and do it. The footy might be on. So we do it all then go shopping Yay (NOT) That's why I married an American, he takes me shopping and gets off his butt and mows his own lawn |

I like shopping when the mood hits because it makes me feel good...what's wrong with that?

Not much of a shopper here, only when I really need something. And I shop on the internet also, a lot easier than trying to find a parking place and fighting the crowds.. When my granddaughter is visiting we will do a shopping trip so she can get some new things.
