Random events are deeply meaningful to paranoid schizophrenics. Is something happening in their brains?

Paranoid schizophrenics are prone to delusions, tales in which random events become deeply meaningful. Some believe in complex conspiracies; others think they are Jesus Christ.

These stories sound crazy, but they may be the brain's efforts to make sense of its own internal messages, suggests Shitij Kapur, professor of psychiatry at the University of Toronto and vice president of research at the Canadian Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. In addition to other brain abnormalities, schizophrenics have too much dopamine. Just as addicts' desensitized dopamine systems make them feel that nothing matters, high levels of the neurotransmitter make schizophrenics believe that everything is significant.






Because the addict's dopamine-driven salience system keeps telling her that something very important is happening, ordinary events appear intensely meaningful. That police car? That song on the radio? That man with a cigarette walking by? They must be part of a massive international conspiracy.

Kapur calls it "biased inductive logic"—a top-down effort to explain the feeling that everything seems important. The cognitive parts of a schizophrenic's brain create the paranoid tale in an effort to explain the constant red alert blaring from the dopamine circuits, using any stimuli available. This is why delusions are culturally appropriate. African schizophrenics may fear they've fallen under the spell of a shaman, while Kapur's patients in Toronto think that the Mounties are after them.

Kapur cautions that this theory is still speculative, but it could support a radical idea: treating schizophrenia with cognitive therapy. If drugs control the overactive dopamine system, patients may then gradually unlearn their delusions.

Are joking??? The rest of the world can see it just fine. Most of the world are wise to who is behind 9/11.

Its the globalists. And they control the governments. Very simple and very clear.

If course conferences happen in real life. I have bumped into friends in alternate cities. Clues that would have lead to evidence? There is no proof of that either. So now you are saying there isn't evidence but that there might have been.

If the aliens ever do "confess" or reveal themselves..... then we are done for. They will have full and complete control.

It is clear that you are not an investigator and that you don't have a clue about how to be one. Clues lead to evidence. Not all of them, it depends on the clue. But if the Bush-Cheney administration are suspected of a cover up of any kind involving 9/11 (and they are!) then the "clue" that Marvin Bush not only had control of the security at the WTC, but also the airports where terrorists allegedly boarded the attacking planes.

DUH! THAT'S A CLUE!

Also, then the security company suddenly changed, and changed its name etc. following the crime. Another clue.

More clues are that Florida was the place where the alleged terrorist Mohammed Atta hung out in sleazy bars drinking and picking up women prior to 9/11 and guess who runs that state? Another member of the Bush crime family, JEB.

And Florida is a seas pool of drug rings and gun smugglers and fake airlines where planes belonging to the CIA are running drugs into old Mexico.

Bush wanted to cover up that 9-11 was an inside job, so he purposely picked buildings and airports that a Bush was in charge of security..

If he wasn't personally implicated in the plot, his obvious incompetence as a board of directors member would ruin his career and sully his good name..

This type of evidence can only possibly come from a real investigator..

No you merely don't comprehend what I am saying. You are giving definites to unknowns. That isn't good investigating. That is just wishful thinking. In the course of one page I made you go from "there is evidence" to "there would be evidence if they followed the clues" to "the clues might lead to evidence".

Which leads to the same conclusion. There is no evidence.

There is also NO evidence that Osama Bin Laden had anything to do with the attack.

Do you even realize that Al Qaeda is a creation of the CIA? Of course you don't.

The official story about 9/11 cannot be and is not true.

This thread posts a link to a video showing Psychologists who are examining the reasons why people resist the huge amount of hard evidence against the official story we have been told about 9/11.

You really should watch it and you will understand your reaction to what you call "the 9/11 truth movement."

The number of scientists and engineers who are challenging the official story are increasing yet there are people who still refuse to see or even look at their findings and evidence because it challenges their world view.

To discover and accept that the official account of 9/11 is not true is a traumatic personal event. It is horrifying. It challenges your fundamental belief system about your government being the "good guys" and being your protectors.

More and more people are joining the "truther" movement simply because people really do want and need the truth.

But so many people are in denial and they are afraid to even look. So they just become angry and indignant and they proceed to ridicule the messenger and silence the messenger which has been done over and over on these threads.

Accept for when he claimed responsibility right? in 2004 and again in 2006.

Obama never accepted responsibility for 9-11 and in fact he denied it.

It is a fact that the FBI has no evidence at all connecting him with 9/11. If you don't know that fact then it is clear you have turned a blind eye for the same reasons mentioned in the video in the O.P.

Now Osama denied it right after but claimed responsibility in 2004 and again in 2006 in videos. You apparently don't know the facts.

you can't let common sense or facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory..

you just have to believe that some mythical entity is pulling the strings behind the scenes and everything that happens in the world is controlled by them.
