I seem to be old for the older guys myself. As for the young guys; they are only interested in using older women. So either way; nothing to look forward to.

No not judgmental; its a preference. Me, I could care less if someone thinks I am judgemental but I also am not a stupid woman. A man that is say 20 or 30 years younger than me is not interested in me. He would use me and then dump me for someone his age. I have heard countless stories of people men and women going through this. Some just have a broken heart; others have lost most of their life savings. Age does matter and I will not delude myself into thinking a man younger than me wants to be with me for who I am.

Exactly. It is a preference just like anything else. I cannot force myself to be attracted to someone much older than me. And I am just not interested in guys who are much younger.

I understand. If others don't like your preferences; then to hell with them. You have to be true to yourself.

I have dated older women and none has come up with stories of being used and dumped. It all depends on the maturity of the younger person in question.

Well, that is just your experience. I have heard dozens of stories of how younger women and younger men use older people. A friend of mine lost his life savings to a younger women. And also as another poster said; a younger person simply cannot relate to something that is 20 or 30 years beyond them. You can be as mature as you want but you will still not be able to relate to past experiences that happened to me 30 years ago as you weren't even born then. I need someone that has been around as long as I have who would understand that and a man of 25 wouldn't. That experience comes with age. I will also add there are different levels of maturity. One older woman may think you are mature and I may think you aren't. Just the fact that you aren't even willing to listen to comments from posters on here shows me a lack of maturity but what the hell do I know. I am only twice your age.

I don't think that age matters once u really have feelings for each other and u respect each other, cause some young guy act mature than some older guys.

Aging is unfortunate. If we did not physically deteriorate I don't think age would matter. That is, if we stayed physically young and only grew in wisdom and knowledge you could be 300 years old and I could be 500 years old and no one would care.

But if you were only 27 and I was 500, I would have a distinct advantage mentally and that would be taking advantage of your lack of experience and knowledge.

But since we age physically, (get old) unless you want to end your life taking care of an old person you are better off finding someone closer to your own age that you have more in common with.

Be practical.

I think there is a range. When I was younger, I dated older women, now that I am getting up there, I have been dating a lot of younger women. However, it has not been any more than 9 years difference in either case, I usually don't consider 3-5 years significant.
