well basically vaccines are actually the disease most of the time,,,,,, to get your body immune so to speak....

I do know of a few people who were not immunized and they are still alive but Im not sure I would do it to my own child.

never immunized my kids no vaccines here...why should i pollute a perfectly pristine immune system with disease???

to prevent diseases that don't pose a threat anymore.

none of my kids have been vaccinated ...all are strong and went thru childhood illnesses easily..

don't swallow everything you hear .....there are more perspectives to examine ...that also carry quite some valueflowerforyou

not to mention a host of other illnesses that coud be effectively treated with drugs they wont release the patents on because they will compete with other druge that cost more.

yes there is and it's on hold as well.

stem cell research is making leaps and bounds in The Netherlands and it is absolutely disgusting that america will not make available this important avenue for treatment of so many debilitating and terminal diseases.

Since the Pledge of Allegiance ... [is] not allowed in most public schools anymore...

-------------------------------

Can anybody verify the accuracy of this claim? Are children truly forbidden from saying the pledge of allegiance?

i remember being in first grade, and being taught the pledge. i didn't understand "allegiance", so i went home and looked it up...i distinctly remember my response: "i'm not giving THAT to a FLAG!"

at that point, i refused to ever say the pledge again...and i never have. my mother backed me when they attempted to paddle me or suspend me...

my own daughter made the same decision, in about the third grade...and the principal called me, requesting permission to punish her. i denied it, of course.

i want free-thinking children...

that, however, is not the problem with this "poem".

this was written by an adult, not a child...and is written to specifically elicit emotional response. anytime someone resorts to using emotion rather than logic...well...

>> here where i live, mt...the kids are just about FORCED to say it.

I have a suspicion that the author of that text has no concern for truth-for-truth's-sake whatsoever, and would say whatever they think they'd get away with in order to fire up the self-righteous passions of others.

I could be wrong. Thats just how it reads to me.

I love the people who say they love the freedom we have in the country, and if you don't like what they say, leave. Well, I also have the freedom to say this poem is offensive. If I find it offensive, I have to leave? Because I don't agree with you? There is a religion board for people who want to be preached to. Don't get all--I fought for this country--on me. It's really old, a lame excuse for trying to shove your beliefs down my throat. I am as much an American as anyone who served in the armed forces. You don't have any more rights than I do. Get over it.

Beach Farmer, you forgot to include the Worshipful Society of Monkeys, we bow to bananas and do polkas for fun and profit.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, do I smell discrimination in the air? Or is it just an overdone fried PB and banana sandwich...

This country was founded on christen belieffs. Take a look at the constution or our laws. It's kinda funny how the state laws mimmic the religous majority in the state.
