God is not a title. It is a name reserved for our creator, our father. It is a generic name as we know not Jesus' father's name. So we use "God" in place of that, as he is our god, he is the one whom has authority over us.



I am a Christian in the sence that I am a servant of the Lord. I do not "obey" Christianity, I obey Jesus Christ. So again call that what you wish.

how many times did we have to suffer through your "Ye Are All Gods" posts...so apparently God to you is a title...some post you claim it is and then contradict yourself in some posts and claim it's not.....perhaps this is why you should just use the term "God" for the Father and cease trying to make Man God

The verse doesn't say "ye are Gods" it says "ye are gods".

Jesus was jewis, only because of where he was born. "Jew" is not a belief system, so I have no idea what you're talking about with comparing it to my profile saying "Christian". The only coolation here of what you're saying would be to change where I was born to Jeruselum or something of that nature, thus then making me a jew. But even still, I wouldn't be a "Jew" I would be a USA citicen. A "Jew" is a nationality.

Because sometimes "God" is capitolized and sometimes "god" is lowercased.

And these have not been edited to prove a point. These verses are from the king james version if you wish to cross referance the accuracy of what I'm saying here.

"God" capitolized is referring to a specific being. "god" lowercases is the title. The name "God" is derived from the word "god", but is a proper noun again referring to a specific being.

Well of course he wouldn't be Christian. Look at the root of Christian, it is Christ. That's why it's call Christian, for a person that is a Christian is taking the steps our Christ has told us to take. They are walking the path laid out before us to walk. A Christian is more then just a title, it is a way of life, it is a desire or as the old saying goes "Actions speak louder then words".

And yes Jesus was Jewish, that is a NATIONALITY, not a belief.

I am a Christian, but that does NOT mean I follow "Christianity". I follow my "Christ" Jesus Christ thus "Christ"ian.
