Lying, results dishonesty, failure in communication.

That you find out someone isn't who you thought they were.

Cheating

I refuse to look at bad things that haven't happened.

I look at the simple signs...good things bad things. I hope for the best and step the hell away when I see a train wreck about to happen.

I will say this...if you step into a new love and you are worried about a past your new lover can't change....you will only hurt your lover. Don't be a p**sy....Give your love. If you don't swing with everything that you got....then you deserve less.

My opinion....try not to drag an unchangeable past...into a new relationship that has no limits except for the ones you bring.

We need to be us and unfortunately we all want progress, change for the better. If we don't get confused about who we are as individuals it's hard to present a lie.

We let society set a standard that is too hard to meet. Our community or tribes dictate behaviors when experimentation adds flavor to the sauce.

In my last long relationship there was an underlying feeling of competitiveness.

He could cheat.....

I have to kind of chuckle to myself at people who say breaking up, etc. Man, people like that must not have had too many worse case scenarios. Not putting anybody down. But I have dealt with guys who went to college,got the good job, bought the house with the white picket fence and the the Sheltie dog figuring they would get the wife and kids to go with it someday and then got AIDS and died.

Had another friend who got all the way to the wife part and THEN WENT INTO LIVER FAILURE WITH AIDS AND THEN DIED.

Had my brother the photographer get engaged to the six foot tall blonde bikini model from NY and got AIDS and die.

Have a friend now who had the dream marriage and relationship of the universe he thought and two beautiful children and just barely got got diagnosed with MS didn't even have bad symptoms yet, and she got a new boyfriend and dumped him leaving him sick and with a 2 and 5 year old and divorced him.

Had another friend whose finacee' cheated on her and gave her vaginal warts she has had to have BURNED off from the rest of her life. Horribly painful and embarrassing. I mean there is no cure. It's so miserable, she has joked she wishes they would just remove the whole thing and she'd just never have sex again.

One of my best friends was riding his quad and it tipped over and ran over his neck and head and left him paralyzed from the neck down and his wife left him.

Another friend for no reason they can explain to this this day, seizured for two days straight. Not a series of seizures. One big seizure. They still are studying her case. She had to relearn everything and her azzhole husband leaves her because HE can't take it and leaves the two kids THEN she remarries her dream man after recovering and he has an aneurysm burst and dies in the jacuzzi.

Perspective people. Perspective.

This is like my bad year last year that ended with the condo flooded and destroyed and my 93 year old grandmother dying and people saying I MUST be DEVASTATED. Heck, I am alive and pretty darn healthy. I got out with the only three non-replaceable things. The lives of me, the cat and the dog. I had State Farm so it took care of stuff. I am living a happy little life somewhere I never considered before and meeting some great guys and dating them. Life is good.
