Have you ever had instances where someone told you they thought you looked younger or older than you actually are? How'd you feel about it?

I would think everyone does..unless you wear your age written on your shirt.
What others think of me doesn't matter. I am comfortable and happy with myself. |

People almost always think I look younger than I am. I have no problem with that.

This girl at work thought I was 22! I had to show her my license to convince her I wasn't!

I had a date with someone on this site and that situation came up. During dinner he stated that he had worked in his profession for 30 years-but his profile said he was 36? I asked how old he was when he started that job, and he said "in his teens". So, it turns out his profile says he's 12 years younger than he is, which was quite obvious when I met him in person.
It's not a big deal, I just don't understand why anyone would lie about their age when they claim to be looking for a partner. The truth will come out at one time or another, and you will have to explain why you lied in the first place...? Red flag! |

It seems like EVERYone on here gets told
they look younger than they are. Flattery. What I dislike is when people take it as truth, then narrow their 'preferences' to exlude even their own age group! Delusional, at best. |

The only protection against getting older is an early death...

Got carded at an Arizona State bar when I was 39 and my new friends that I met after I moved there, couldn't believe I had a 17 year old daughter.. It still happens and I'm almost out of my 60's....

I earned every grey hair, achie bone, wrinkle, flaw, sag. I thank people who say I dont look 61 and those that say I look older, tell them I feel it. Be proud of who and what you are, youre unique, no-one else like you in the world.
