This girl at work thought I was 22! I had to show her my license to convince her I wasn't!

Was she alright after seeing your LICENSE?

I had a date with someone on this site and that situation came up. During dinner he stated that he had worked in his profession for 30 years-but his profile said he was 36? I asked how old he was when he started that job, and he said "in his teens". So, it turns out his profile says he's 12 years younger than he is, which was quite obvious when I met him in person.
It's not a big deal, I just don't understand why anyone would lie about their age when they claim to be looking for a partner. The truth will come out at one time or another, and you will have to explain why you lied in the first place...?
Red flag!

That's maturity concern.

No use to discuss with immature who does so.

It seems like EVERYone on here gets told
they look younger than they are.
Flattery.
What I dislike is when people take it as
truth, then narrow their 'preferences' to
exlude even their own age group!
Delusional, at best.

Another wise lady there...waving

I definitely wouldn't say everyone looks younger than they are. Many people look quite a bit older than they actually are.

Perhaps I would say everyone else looks much older than they are

EXCEPT

ME

When I'm out with my two boys, some people think that I'm my 6yr old's grandparent and my 18yr old is his father.

I don't get annoyed because I have friends in their 40's who are grandparents..

Apparently, according to some, i still look about sixteen. lol. I'm cool with it. The younger i look, the better. I definitely have no qualms about that.

You see, many people don't pronounce it properly & some fails to hear it.

Bingo!!

Everyone looks either younger, or older than what they are.

If anyone guesses someone else's age by year and month, then you can squeeze them for the hour and mintue of the day of slipping out of the hole, and bang, there will be very few who will do, and if yes, then only through luck, not through seem.

I am told often I look younger. It has it pluses but also it's negatives. I get asked what I do to to stay young looking. I think state of mind has a lot to do with it. I still have a young attitude and enjoy being active. Besides who sets the standards for how we should act or look at any given age?
I just don't look good in smock tops and polyester slacks. ohwell

You are right,girl.

I've also experienced that our SCOIALLY AGREED / CONSIDERED age depends on our social & financial status too.

I remembered my childhood,wux.

Me and my four siblings, all were crazy about watching television,we were used to keep on watching TV for hours,We were so addicted to the TV programs that we invented some tricky games over boaring TV programs & made them bearable.

There was a TV program about missing persons,it was obviously a boring one as there they just keep on showing photographs of missing person & just after sometime, they start announcing the information of them.We invented a game in which we would guess the age of person in photographs before actual announcement.
