Again, what in the world are you talking about? I've not mentioned the Quran one bit, not even insinuated anything about it. The old testament and the Quaran are not the same, the Quaran has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity.

since Jesus is in the Quran...then wouldn't you say that the Quran does have something to do with Christianity

you claimed that Jesus was the holy spirit and therefore the spirit of God...the Quran make that same claim

Jesus is God, not merely the spirit of God.

right...it falls into The Christian Muslim belief

What are you talking about? What Muslim? Who's speaking of Muslims. That is a totally different belief, please stay on topic Funches.

Cowboy...according to the Quran...Jesus is the spirit of God just as you are claiming ....

Jesus isn't specifically the spirit of God. He is God.

According to the Quran, Jesus performed no said miracles it was "Allah" who performed them through him.

Again, null and void defense.

It's blatantly obvious where he stands on that one, eh?

perhaps if you keep saying that, then little elves will float down, sprinkle fairy dust and magically make the name Jesus disappear out of the Quran

He might be in the Quaran, but that doesn't mean Christianity follows the Quaran for our teachings.

Thus the Quaran has nothing to do with Christianity.

according to your post they do, and that is what the thread is about....if you want to claim that you "have a right to believe" and are so willing to inject Cowboy-anity into society by posting things that bridge the gap between Christianity and Islam then take responsibility for it

Why lie? That wasn't even being discussed on page 45. Page 45 is when the talk about that guy that had predictions/prophecies of 2012. Last thing I've said about the Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit, was roughly this. Don't know exactly word for word as I'm to lazy to go look.

But throughout the different interpretations of the bible, some use ghost, some use spirit. But yet in JUST the JKV translation, there is a difference between the Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost. Holy Spirit is PURELY talking about God's spirit. Not God in specifics, but referring to his Spirit. The Holy Ghost IS God. That's why both terms are used in JUST the KJV, again not speaking of other interpretations of the scriptures.

For thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I Myself will

search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd cares for his

herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will

care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which

they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day. And I will bring

them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and

bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains

of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the

land. I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground

will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down

in good grazing ground, and they will feed in rich pasture on the

mountains of Israel. I will feed My flock and I will lead them to

rest," declares the Lord God. "I will seek the lost, bring back the

scattered, bind up the broken, and strengthen the sick; but the fat

and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them with judgment"

(Ezekiel 34:11-16).

"I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for

the sheep. He who is a hireling, and not a shepherd, who is not the

owner of the sheep, beholds the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep,

and flees, and the wolf snatches them, and scatters them. He flees

because he is a hireling, and is not concerned about the sheep. I

am the good shepherd; and I know My own, and My own know Me, even as

the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life

for the sheep. And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold;

I must bring them also, and they shall hear My voice; and they

shall become one flock with one shepherd" (John 10:11-16).

Again, yes this much is true. When it's referring to the Holy Ghost, the scriptures are not referring to God's spirit. The Holy Ghost is one of the person"s" that make our God. When it speaks of God's Spirit, it specifically says "The Holy Spirit" or "God's Holy Spirit". Which this Holy Spirit and the Holy Ghost would not be the same being, for again the Holy Ghost is God, not the spirit of God.

Verses as such is what I'm referring to. Notice, no matter the translation, it ALWAYS says SPIRIT and not GHOST.

John 3:8

King James Version (KJV)

8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

John 3:8

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

John 3:8

English Standard Version (ESV)

8 The wind[a] blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
=======================

1 Chronicles 12:18

English Standard Version (ESV)

18 Then the Spirit clothed Amasai, chief of the thirty, and he said,

“We are yours, O David,
and with you, O son of Jesse!
Peace, peace to you,
and peace to your helpers!
For your God helps you.”

1 Chronicles 12:18

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

18 Then the Spirit [a]came upon Amasai, who was the chief of the thirty, and he said,
“We are yours, O David,
And with you, O son of Jesse!
Peace, peace to you,
And peace to him who helps you;
Indeed, your God helps you!”

1 Chronicles 12:18

King James Version (KJV)

18Then the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.
===============

And so forth. There are many verse that are like these, where "Spirit" is NEVER substituted with "Ghost". This Spirit that is in question, is God's HOLY Spirit.

cool...so now God is now made up of 4 different Gods

so according to Cowboy The Trinity doesn't exist which means you got

Father the God
Jesus the god (lowercase "g" god)
Holy Ghost the God
Holy Spirit The God

so that's four seperate Gods

so now Christians Math is no longer
1+1+1=1
now it's
1+1+1+1=1

so perhaps there are other Gods in God that hasn't been revealed yet

so let's serach the bible and find more

no one included the Elohim....clearly that God is one of the Gods that make up God

so now we are up to 5 seperate Gods

1+1+1+1+1=1

stay tune...more Gods to come

Oh but you are horribly incorrect about what I have said. They are one God.

If you truly wish to discuss/learn, listen here.

We are made of two elements. The flesh and the spirit. We are made in the image of God, thus God also has a "body" and a Spirit.

Father the God
Jesus the god (lowercase "g" god)
Holy Ghost the God
Holy Spirit The God

Incorrect. As I recently said you can look at it as the circle being God and these person(s) inside that circle.

Father the God is the same God as Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit is God's spirit, it's not even a separate person"s".

When you read inside the bible english version and come across the word "God". That is translated from the Hebrew word "Elohim".

Elohim (אֱלֹהִ֔ים) is a grammatically singular or plural noun for "god" or "gods" in both modern and ancient Hebrew language. When used with singular verbs and adjectives elohim is usually singular, "god" or especially, the God. When used with plural verbs and adjectives elohim is usually plural, "gods" or "powers".

wow so God also has a body?....so I guess that bit about Flesh and Blood not inheriting the kingdom was a lie ....
