Apparently I lasted a lot longer than I thought. No one's maimed me yet. Please don't I've only had one 'run -in' but we're pretty cool now...I think Correction..only one run in with someone on the forums...a few with lurkers that have messaged me.

leave? Just curious, I keep hearing how lively this place was a while back...how you ever left and came back? I didn't really leave but did de-activate for a while as I found I was spending way too much time on the site.

I didn't really leave but did de-activate for a while as I found I was spending way too much time on the site. That's funny what it does to people. I don't think I'm an addict, not yet anyway.

I've deactivated. However, I generally don't tell anyone I just do it. This place is like crack though.

Just curious, I keep hearing how lively this place was a while back...how you ever left and came back? ya, a few times - once for a pretty long time cuz I had something going on on another site - was gone over a year - then came back have deactivated 3 or 4 times - bored - usually why or sometimes just get that feeling that I have pretty well said all I can say for awhile - or some dude pisses me off < but that don't chase me off here no more so that is why I come & go - others prolly have their own reasons

Me??? Well I get distracted, don't check up on everyone for a while and then all of a sudden I stick my head in the door. Once I do, everyone tells me how happy they are to see me again, so I stick around a while and chat it up. Well, that and I'm still single.

Yep.... I stepped away when I went through manOpause. (it sucked) Wasn't pleasant company at that time and didn't want to be a drag. But, I got over it and came back only to unexpectedly get b!tch slapped with the love I never thought I would find. Go figure. Lotsa people bail for lotsa reasons. Disappointment, lack of patience, meeting someone who aint "all dat and a bag o chips".... fixed it for you...

I have never deactivated my account but i did stop loging on here and all the our sights i use to use for about a year because i just got burned out on the whole online thing. Now i only post here.

Yup... i deactivated a couple times... the first time was because my ex (who i met on here, when it was still justsayhi) thought the site was causing issues because i was "too flirty"... i figured it wasnt worth the fight and deactivated (should have been a sign... we see how that worked out) The second time was because i was in another serious relationship and working two job and just didnt have time for mingle...

I deactivated for 3 days recently, I came back to get in touch with someone and realized only 1 person knew I was gone. Pffft. There are several people here that I really really missed.

I simply wasn't here. I got up one day jumped a plane to Honolulu where I spent most of my time on the beach since I lived only 10 minutes from it. From there I went to Australia and was preparing to teach English but I came back. I think I'm going to go to Italy or Spain now lol
