hi!i've been on this site and others off and on through the years..i have a handicap due to a childhood cerebral hemorrhage.i have been on sites that cater to the handicapped,as well.usually i start emailing a woman and everything is fine and then i mention my handicap and it all changes for the worse.this also happens when i contact women with a disability.i'm not sure why.i guess now after all this time i should just be content being single.

Be strong man I had a friend with spina bifida, he did have trouble making dates but eventually found his someone special. Do you do any activities or events with other with disabilities? There is someone out there for everyone, and disability or no disability it can seem like it takes for ever and that we are destined to be alone.

Yeah some may be turned away by it but I would simply think of that as a good personality screamer, as that's kind of shallow. So keep you're chin up man you'll find some one no matter you're faults just like the rest of us.

All that's wrong here is that you haven't found someone yet who accepts you for who you are, someone that can see past your disability. Don't give up, it will happen at some point.

On another note..
I would change ''Handicap'' to ''Minor/Slight Disability''
I don't know about over in the States but over here we don't say ''Handicap'' this word is an extremely big insult towards people with Disabilities.

I hope you find what you're looking for.
Good Luck flowerforyou

It is all about confidence and attitude. Everyone has a 'handicap' whether they want to admit it or not, some people's is just more visible than others. If you are happy with yourself then there should be no reason someone else can not love you just the way you are...

Just try and have a sense of humor about it. It can really help. Love takes time. If it's TRUE love.
