I did, we now have a kid together and i am marrying her in June. Scotland and England though are not exactly far apart.

Nothing is impossible. It's just whether or not you have the commitment and desire to make it work. If you need your partner by your side every second, probably not. If you are not willing to compromise, definately not.. But everyone is diferent, and what works for some, will not for others. If you have an issue with trust, then definately don't even consider it. Yep it can work. but it is harder than having someone close.

I fall easily into lust and even infatuation but not LOVE. Love for me is I would give that person my kidney to save them and that is rare rare rare rare. One of my favorite people in the world is someone I met on here who lives in Italy. Granted the "in love" feelings never developed, but had they done so, I wouldn't have dreamed of turning him away just because he's across the water. And he's coming to visit the States in August, so I'm super excited to meet him face to face, not just on Skype or messenger or the phone.
