If God created Adam and Eve and they had Cain and Abel, who did Cain and Abel create children with? Ask and ye shall receive. The Hebrew word אָדַם is translated into "Adam" means mankind. It is a plural noun, it is not referring to just one man. And the word "Eve" translates into life bearing, women are the one's that bare children eg., bare life. |

In Genesis 3:20 we read, “And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.”[10] In other words, all people are descendants of Adam and Eve—she was the first woman.
Eve was made from Adam's rib (or side) (Genesis 2:21-24)—this was a unique event. Jesus (Matthew 19:4-6) and Paul (Ephesians 5:31) use this historical and one-time event as the doctrinal foundation for the marriage of one man to one woman. Also, in Genesis 2:20, we are told that when Adam looked at the animals, he could not find a mate—there was no one of his kind. All this makes it obvious that there was only one woman, Adam's wife, at the beginning. There were never any other women around who were not Eve's descendants. Cain was the first child of Adam and Eve recorded in Scripture (Genesis 4:1). His brothers, Abel (Genesis 4:2) and Seth (Genesis 4:25), were part of the first generation of children ever born on this earth. Even though only these three males are mentioned by name, Adam and Eve had other children. In Genesis 5:4 a statement sums up the life of Adam and Eve—“And the days of Adam after he had fathered Seth were eight hundred years. And he fathered sons and daughters.” This does not say when they were born. Many could have been born in the 130 years (Genesis 5:3) before Seth was born. During their lives, Adam and Eve had a number of male and female children. The Jewish historian Josephus wrote that, “The number of Adam's children, as says the old tradition, was thirty-three sons and twenty-three daughters.”[11] The Bible does not tell us how many children were born to Adam and Eve. However, considering their long life spans (Adam lived for 930 years—Genesis 5:5), it would seem reasonable to suggest there were many! Remember, They were commanded to “Be fruitful, and multiply” (Genesis 1:28). If we now work totally from Scripture, without any personal prejudices or other extra-biblical ideas, then back at the beginning, when there was only the first generation, brothers would have had to have married sisters or there would be no more generations! We are not told when Cain married or any of the details of other marriages and children, but we can say for certain that some brothers had to marry their sisters at the beginning of human history. Many people immediately reject the conclusion that Adam and Eve's sons and daughters married each other by appealing to the law against brother-sister intermarriage. Some say that you cannot marry your relation. Actually, if you don't marry your relation, you don't marry a human! A wife is related to her husband even before they marry because all people are descendants of Adam and Eve—all are of “one blood.” The law forbidding marriage between close relatives was not given until the time of Moses (Leviticus 18-20). Provided marriage was one man to one woman for life (based on Genesis 1 and 2), there was no disobedience to God's law originally when close relatives (even brothers and sisters) married each other. Remember that Abraham married his half-sister (Genesis 20:12). God blessed this union to produce the Hebrew people through Isaac and Jacob. It was not until some 400 years later that God gave Moses laws that forbade such marriages. credit below and more on this at ... http://www.christiananswers.net/q-aig/aig-c004.html |

While Adam can be plural and mean "mankind", it can also be a name. Adam in Genesis was a single man. You just make Christians look bad when you post your false interpretations of the scriptures. |

"Male" is not even singular. It can be used as a singular noun when referring to "a" male. But the word "male" in general is not singular. arren means "a male", just like I said above. Arren means male, not specifically a male/man. The way the Hebrew language works, there are no pronouns separate from the verbs or nouns. The pronouns are attached to the end of the words to indicate who is possessing the noun of verb. In Genesis 1:26, both the verb "make" (asah) and the noun "image" (tselem) are in the plural. The verb is in the first person pluaral form (indicated by the absense of the suffix in this case), which can not be understood in any other way than "let us make" the phrase "in our image" is all one word in Hebrew (btselemou). "In" comes from the Hebrew prefix "b", (Hewbrew latter beth) and the "our" comes from the suffix "nou". This noun has a first-person plural pronominal ending which cannot be interpretated in any other way then a plural sense. |

If God created Adam and Eve and they had Cain and Abel, who did Cain and Abel create children with? ..basically all products of incest. Apparently Adam and Eve lived to be like over a thousand years old.. ..and being the first to discover intercourse.. You can bet they got it on constantly! ..kinda makes you wonder how they knew to cut the umbilical cord. At the same time, I hope God gave them a heads up, cause if not, they both woulda freaked as she began to get fat.. ..and then a mutant looking head popping out where his manpiece enters? Yeah.. scarred fo' life. |

If God created Adam and Eve and they had Cain and Abel, who did Cain and Abel create children with? the bible is basically a scentific study on the effects of either incest or beastiality first God has a Love child with his Male creation Adam ...which makes you wonder why Christians are against homosexuality... Adam's rib was used as an egg to spawn Eve which means that Adam and Eve are of the same blood which means that Eve is the daughter of Adam and Adam is Eve's Mother and God's baby's mama... later God gave Adam and Eve the direct command to "be fruitful and Multiply" in which since there were no other people yet on the planet the only way to accomplish this was to committ incest with each other or beastility with the animals ...only God knows what took place but anyway what every took place out popped Cain and Abel...and the only breeding "human" female that were around was Eve |

Only reason anyone truly knows Cain and Abel is.. well.. ..you know why. So, according to the bible, that's not true entirely. Idk where you got bestiality in all that. Nor love child.. ..and I'm not sure if taking a dude's rib and creating a woman out of it would necessarily make Adam a mother/woman.. at the same time. ..and even so, you make the assumption than that God is in fact male. Which I don't recall the Bible ever specifying God's gender. EDIT: Furthermore, a few chapters later in the Bible, it speaks of several cities with hundreds of people existing in them. It would be safe to assume, if the Bible is 'truth', that they created a crap load of spawn. Whether or not you want to relate them as being relatives of each other, is up to you; but after Adam and Eve there is no doubt there was a crap load of incest going on. However, and theoretically, we would still be doing it today whether you like to believe it or not. Since we would have all had the same great great great great (50 million times over) grandparents. |

..and one more thing.
After Cain killed Abel, he was banished but he was also branded so that no one would kill him. If there was no one aside from Cain and Seth; what purpose would that have been for? |

..and I'm not sure if taking a dude's rib and creating a woman out of it would necessarily make Adam a mother/woman.. at the same time. Adam clearly wouldn't have been the Father ...therefore since Eve was formed from a part of Adam's body as a baby is formed from a part of it's Mother...that makes Adam Eve's Mother ..and even so, you make the assumption than that God is in fact male. Which I don't recall the Bible ever specifying God's gender. Genesis 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: "he" made the stars also. |
