How do you tell if someone is interested in you? For those who cannot tell, what kind of clues/signs do you want to see so that you can tell? |

I've been wondering about that myself. I get all the clues and signals all wrong. Some people are very friendly and sometimes playful. If you don't know them well, you can take all that the wrong way.

Staring problems.
Sometimes obvious verbal hatred works too. I've missed so many hotties that way. |

Autocorrect messes with my posts. I meant a stare...a look.

Now that is where I do miss the signals. There was a man interested in me a few years back and every person in the room knew it but me. I just thought he was being friendly; never realized he looked at me as anything more than a friend. I suppose that way of thinking is because I have been "one of the boys" so long that I forget sometimes that I am a female.

I have never been able to detect interest unless it's extremely blatant. (And sometimes not even then.)
So I suppose I would like it if they would find some way of letting me know that is a little more obvious -- otherwise I will never know.... |

yeah im hopeless at picking up signals

I've had them just come up to me and blurt it out -- probably awkward, but leaves little room for ambiguity. More normally, they send me something in writing or one of their friends talks to me about them. |
