Sometimes I think the word "no" is a lot more powerful than its adverse.   Dude if I said yes to everything how gnarly would that be? I'd be like some kinda preset robot.

Now that is where I do miss the signals. There was a man interested in me a few years back and every person in the room knew it but me. I just thought he was being friendly; never realized he looked at me as anything more than a friend. I suppose that way of thinking is because I have been "one of the boys" so long that I forget sometimes that I am a female.  well if he never asked you out or for your phone number to give you an idea of his interest that is not your fault. It's pretty lame if he was really that interested to not at least call you & ask if you'd like to go out....jmho He didn't ask me out but he was hanging with me and talking. He confessed to me later that he was interested in me. What I don't get is how everyone in the room figured it out. They told me it was the way he looked at me but I never noticed. Mind you its been years since any man has shown interest in me; so I guess that had a part in it as well. The paranoid in me would think the really isn't interested in me but just playing some mind game. |
