Candlelight, traditional courting always wins. Way it works here - You meet a him/her in a pub, you chat, flirt and prob kiss them, you exchange numbers, text the next day if of course it wasn't just beer goggles, arrange to go cinema or to the pub for drinks, this happens for about 2 weeks possibly a month, then you are either in a relationship with him/her or your both single, if single then you delete each others number and avoid all contact when you meet again Dayum hugs Sorree eesh Not at all, I guess it's what you're used too, that's just they way it's done here, it's all good in the hood I guess in Ireland guys just screw you over in more creative/thought out ways.

The heading should have read, Obvious question for the ladies. Take me to the night club and let me dance like a maniac AND then I want a really good pizza and wine for dinner............... Over here you will get a bag of chips(fries)and then he'll whisper ever so softly in your ear ''your place or mine''

All you guys are so 2008. In today's world, you take your lady to an S&M show....followed afterwards wtih a midnight bible study and then tea.

No no your are getting mixed up I didn't mean the guys screw us over, it could just as easily be the woman's decision to stay single after getting to know a lad. It's not always the guys screwing with women, women can be just as bad if not worse.

As always it depends on who you are taking out (or dining in with) as to where you go or what you do. I've known women that only wanted to go to the bar. Others wanted any attention you would give them. It doesn't matter much to me, as long as I make her happy. Personally I would rather save the money and make her a good home cooked meal. I make a mean Lasagna. But, I'm not against taking her out. On a side note, I'm trying to find a woman that doesn't always feel the need to be taken out to be shown that you care. Long walks, a night on the couch, hiking, camping, canoeing. As long as the time we spend together is well spent, I don't see where it really matters what is done, as long as it's done right......

But I don't see how making the decision to stay single would be so bad. Lots of women do it.

Hi ladies, Which do you prefer a night at the club or a romantic dinner with candlelight? It really depends on the person and their age. A lot of the older crowd want to stay in while the younger want to be out. I don't mind either one. Depends on your preference, I guess. I'm pretty much over clubs. I do enjoy bars with great atmospheres and live music, though. But, in reference to this thread, it depends on where we're at with dating. If it's in the beginning, drinks, talking and listening to music is great. A nice dinner out is good sometimes as well.
