Looks like the battle may be over. One of the sponsors of PIPA just threw in the towel. SOPA proponents can't be too far behind. Keep those cards and letters comin' though folks!

Actually if we knew our soverign rights........it is. But you have to know how the game works to attain them, and most don't.
For example, did you know you technically have no obligation to show up to court? You may ask how that is possible. The reason is, only the NAME is being called, not YOU. You are not the name, it's just a corporate representation of you, so you don't have any requirement to go to court if you're asked because it's not you being summoned. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. The way the system works is very slick, but if you know how it operates you can have real freedom. |

Its kind of sad that the grassroots resistance didn't seem to do as much as the industry push from the major internet companies, but at least the MPAA and such were dealt a blow. Even is they say the fight over SOPA AND PIPA is over....I wont believe them.. theyll try and push it through however they can.
And its stupid. the people in charge are citizens just like all of us. That we elected to act in our best interest as a united country and instead they end up doing whatever they want and turning us against them. They are no better then anyone else.. |

People are unaware of this belief because they don't read wing-nut websites, or have many wing-nut friends. My interests have brought me in contact with wing-nuts, and I've heard this load of crap claimed as truth many, many times over the last 15 years. in essence , what is being claimed is people can commit crimes and not be obligated to show up in court (unless caught in the act and physically taken there).... because 'identifiers' such as a name are not the ACTUAL person,,,, its not logical, and the issue of warrants in our country proves it to be untrue,,, |
