Pst.

You should ask this under Movie topic, not Science.

As for the movie...

I didn't think it was half bad.
Felt kinda bad for Gyllenhaal though.

Although, I did like it.

Loved it. Its another spin on a well worn sci-fi theme, but somehow it doesn't get old.

I think it fits here... The movie really culminates both aspects of science and philosophy.
I was leaning more so to the 11th dimension. How would one know one plane of existence from another if there are only subtle changes? Astral travel? Also, what actually happens when one dies? Energy is neither created nor destroyed. However; ones consciousness isn't formed until brain development... I could go on. I was looking for a more in depth analysis by someone.

Your reply is appreciated though.

Well, that's different. lol
Hm, well, let me watch it again.
Cause I haven't seen it in a while.
I'd need a refresher, then I can get back to you.
Otherwise, I don't know what I'd actually say.

Unless, you care to specify your ideals first?

Ok so I guess we are asking ourselves, what would it take for this movie to represent reality?

The moments of reality would all need to be recorded somewhere. You would need to be able to connect to this medium that stored these moments and be able to interact with them by going back in time.

Fun stuff. What would this mean for reality? What would this mean for consciousness?

(I have not watched the movie, or if I did the conclusion was forgettable so I dont know how it turns out)
