During a routine briefing at the White House Wednesday, Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters President Obama would be occupied throughout the day with numerous urgings and callings on. "The president has a full schedule today, and will spend much of the morning reaffirming his commitments to before tackling five reiteratings this afternoon," said Carney, later noting that, if time permits, Obama would engage in a few comings out against. "In addition to several standings arm in arm with, he'll finish his day with some light unveilings as well as a few statings in no uncertain terms." When asked if the president would have time for a break, Carney said that at 12:30 p.m. Obama would take a brief lunch during which he'd squeeze in as many embracings the values of as he could.

Pre election year. Campaigning instead of doing his job.
First 2 years after election. Blaming Bush.
Second and third year. Pushing us Gazillion dollars more in debt and making sure Wall Street and ACORN are secure in their jobs.
Last year and all prior years. Golfing and vacations.
Present day. Golfing and campaigning. Planning vacations.

Nice freakin' job, if you can get it.slaphead

if you believe that, I dont know what to say

most people cant handle the stress of being told no or having their brilliant ideas shot down once or twice a day

most people need some aknowledgement and appreciation when they do or evey try to do something right, let alone when they succeed

imagine having to handle being told no and being shot down DAILY ,under a microscope, and disected into a million pieces by a million different people, in front of the whole world...

imagine hardly EVER being aknowledged for dozens of difficult and potentially HISTORICAL decisions that go right, but almost always being HIGHLIGHTED weeks and months on end for any that go wrong,,,,

I would never want the job,,,

Which, if he hadn't thrown away all our money, would have been just that.
Funny.

Don't forget his latest luxurious vacation in Hawaii (that I know of) where he managed on the last day of the year to sign that pesky NDAA bill that made it legal to indefinitely detain any U.S. citizen (along with anyone else) without charges or a trial!!

Historical decisions.... like deciding NOT to bring the troops home as promised...until he had to by prior agreement?

Maybe his promise to close Gitmo?

Obamacare?

4 Trillion dollars added to the national debt in 3 years? $1.2T more soon? Seeking $6T more?

Or to repeal the patriot act.....that he enhanced instead?

Funding his friends at Solyndra .....who was set up to fail?

Filling the WH with bankers and CEOs who caused our current problems?

Giving more power to the FED and IRS?

Recess appointments while congress is in session?

Signing Presidential orders to legislate policy?

NDAA....removing the 4th, 5th, and 14th amendments to the constitution?

Should I go on?

Are those some of the wonderful pieces of legislation yer talking about?

I've heard it said he knows the constitution....He must! He's destroying it, and our great nation, quite well....better than even the Bush/Cheney war machine could! Just shows bankers have even less heart than warmongers!

wonderful decisions like the credit card bill of rights

or the implementation stopping insurance companies from rejecting SICK PEOPLE

or ending the war in iraq

NLCB reform

repealing DADT (historical, not necessarily wonderful)

"Promise Neighborhoods' grants

investing in alternate and renewable energy sources

removing Bin Laden

,,,and plenty of other things that the average american probably wouldnt understand or see the value of,,,,,because it isnt an immediate fix to their personal problems,,

Obama has been so busy I can't keep up. With virtually no transparency that he promised during his campaign, he has made it harder. Along with the mainstream media ignoring most of it. You do a good job Sojourning.I'm not familiar with all of it like Solyndra.

It is amazing how so much just slips right by. Project Gunrunner is infuriating, 2 agents and how many countless others were killed because of it. How many more will be killed? These agents were instructed to use only bean bag shots in the event where Agent Terry was killed. The article by the New American link is under the video if anyone is interested in reading it.

The video link does state this effort started with the administration. I swear I had seen something that stated Obama's signature was directly on the papers for Fast and Furious but unfortunitely I can't find it.

Smoking Gun: Obama Ordered Operation Fast and Furious - Project Gunrunner - 2009 The link is below, it's a short video but well worth it.

http://youtu.be/TFrApLNmjtk

I spend time trying to spread the horrible news of what Obama (and some others) are responsible for. If anyone can account something in detail and with proof so we can all learn then we would have a better argument on why someone should NOT vote for Obama I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Referring to my post where I stated that while he (Obama) was on vacation in Hawaii he managed to sign the NDAA bill. I don't know about anyone else but I find it quite ironic that he feels he is free to do whatever he wants (including treason) while signing something that can take away the freedom of any innocent person, in fact masses of people.

What on Earth does it take for people to Wake Up? Is it when they take away Aunt Betty cause she stored too much food in her pantry? Is it when Uncle Bob didn't get the operation he needed because of the HealthCare? Or is it when the TSA searched your Grandma's diapers and humilated her so much she never got over it or your kid is having nightmares because he's been taught it's wrong for anyone to grope him but now it's been violated?

I could go on and on, it is endless how each one of us has been effected by all this. Reality isn't pretty but better to face it and attempt to fix it while we still can.

I hear you, girl, but the people you're preaching to are like one step shy of worshiping the 'man'. To be honest, this'll be another year I won't vote because, yet again, the candidates all suck. It's not just a rebellious spirit saying f*** voting.

It's all bs. Even if Harmony did take two vacations, she could take 20 more and still not come close to touching how much a presidents' does.

Just remember, he's not just the most face on the planet; they also become the largest d**** on the planet. Period.

oh, so some jobs people hold should call for them to not have vacations or leisure time except when they sleep?

interesting,,,

someone should have told all the other presidents that....

especially since the advent of technology and all,, I mean, whats the use,, we still should sit in an OFFICE if we want to truly achieve things and prevent chaos,,,,,whats the use of conference calls, video conference calls, telephones,,,? NOPE, if we arent IN an office, we cant possibly work or do our job,,,
