Topic: Ron Paul's Media Meltdown | |
---|---|
It was a big blowup between Ron Paul and a CNN correspondent.
Things got tense when CNN's Dana Bash asked a question about a New Hampshire voter. Bash said, "She told me that if she would have been able to just shake your hand and look you in the eye, you would have gotten her vote. But now she's turned off because you left. Does that say anything about your ability to connect?" "It says something about the media," replied Paul. A top Paul campaign aide, Jesse Benton, angrily jumped in. "This is junk. This is a junky question. We're stopping," said Benton. In the video, which has gone viral, Bash looked stunned as Paul began chastising her. Paul told Bash, "You, the media, did that to her. She should have been furious with you." Another CNN correspondent said to Bash during a CNN broadcast, "We get blamed for everything. It's always the media's fault." http://www.insideedition.com/news/7472/ron-paul-lashes-out-at-cnn-reporter.aspx Awwwww, that Teletubbie Benton had to jump in and save his man from that big bad reporter. He defended Paul like any man woud defend their woman............ I am guessing Benton thinks he's a real bada$$ tough buy now intimidating a 5'1 100# woman. What a creep. Talk about a childish outburst. Especially when the reporter asked a valid question and instead of answering the question he throws one of his famous tantrums. |

Where's the unedited video of both instances?
Till that comes out in its entirety I'll side w/Paul. Hey look what MSM did w/Romney's "Fire Em" sound bit. Till journalist start reporting the news in an unbiased 3rd person manner they'll receive no quarter here. |

Ron Paul is not acting very Presidential but more like a spoiled brat. |

I briefly read the synopsis and see that Paul blew up at a reporter. Good for him, he should be angry with these **** heads.

You just have it set in your mind who is the 'perfect' president. Then when he wins, we can complain how awful he is. He loses, you can complain how awful the guy is who took your guys spot. Mundane. But.. reporters just suck overall. If you disagree.. You haven't been truly hounded by a pack of them. Their like dogs fighting over who gets to smell another dog's a**. It's sad. |

News media is nothing more than PAPARAZZI anymore....there is no real news, just spin. Such posts make me laugh....like this is news. Did they show Carol Paul getting pushed into the wall at Moe Joes the other morning and being told to "get out of the way!" by a reporter? NO! Did they report WHY Paul left the diner? NO! The media hounds (150 or so in a small diner) were climbing over the occupied booths of patrons having their meals at the restaurant, shoving people (including Mrs Paul), hitting them with their boom mics and cameras, and creating an enviroment that was unsafe to the occupants, forcing Paul to leave out of fear and respect....NOT any other reason! This is how they spin it..... |

Maybe to a tabloid or a high school newspaper, but grown-ups don't take that sort of fluff seriously. Had he even bothered to answer that, it wouldn't mean anything to anyone. |

Andrew Jackson would have shot that reporter dead on the spot. |

this OBama Supporter agrees with what Ron Paul said
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDlY5UKY9CM the media does 'feed' the public alot of emotional and irrelevant information and out and out gossip after she says it was crazy where he was, she asks if him not having spoken to a certain voter says anything about how he 'connects'? it was a kind of stupid question |

Reporters are sensation-seeking coneheads. It amazes me why they think they're smarter than anyone else. |
