I had some chick throw a beer bottle at me and hit me right upside the head. So I married her. Throws like a girl my azz. I like a chick with bad eye sight and that can't throw very well......smokin

That would be the Terri response to the words "Brew me Biotch"

I had to write standards frequently as a kid and now that I'm grown up I want nothing to do with them.

Well everybody has standards. It's just that different people have different ones. What I find interesting is the times when you suddenly discover a standard that you didn't realize you had.

I will tell you one of my all time favorite friends who I play with is a conspiracy nut. He's absolutely gorgeous. And he's WAY smarter than me. My IQ has been measured at 170. I have NO idea what his is but he's UBER brilliant. And he had never spelled a word wrong EVER or made an incoherent sentence or thought. So we play a lot. I say give me a conspiracy even though I am not really into that and I study it and then we discuss just because we have so much fun.

While I do like looking into conspiracy stuff, I'm usually just looking to expand my knowledge and awareness. Most theories are speculation passed off a fact. That doesn't mean that a handful of theories aren't true though. The law of averages would necessitate that at least a few have merit. That alone is reason enough to look into such theories before dismissing them.

I have a high IQ myself, though I've found it harder to maintain complex thought as I've grown older. That's one reason why I am sure I have ADD. Apparently, research has shown that people with ADD score higher on IQ tests after receiving treatment due to better focus.

In my last set of tests, I averaged 154 with a low of 152 and a high of 160. If these are low, as research studies suggest, then I could be in the 170 range after treatment.

Quite rite. ...And sometimes your existing standard manifests in a totally different way than you expected it to do.

True as well.

For instance, I used to really really like shy girls. Always got along with them. They always took a liking to me. There was just something about the quiet demeanor I found really attractive, and....well....safe.

But after dating a few shy girls, I just couldn't stand it. I mean, it was worse than pulling teeth just trying to get them to go for a walk with me, or even getting them to watch a movie with a group of friends. The shy ones would rather just stay in alone, just the two of us, with a lot of cuddling.

Now, I don't mind admitting as a guy that I like a bit of cuddling too, but to have it be far and away the primary way to spend time together?

Seriously?

I couldn't take it. I was going stir crazy.

Maybe not every one of them is the same, but after dating a few and seeing other friends in relationships with shy women, it just isn't for me.

Tea.. I just think you need to let your heart determine if you like them or not.. what they have done in life wont always determine what they are capable of providing you emotionally.

I can drive a standard or an automatic. But I think I have been a passenger longer than I have driven. I would like to make a train made out of just PVC pipe for all of my friends powered by Merry Walkers.laugh

I am gonna admit a little secret. If a woman
can answer this question..... "How much wood
can a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could
chuck wood"?....then I swoon.

He would chuck what a woodchuck could,
if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Salts!!

Still, while this answer does induce logic, it defies the analytical aspect. I mean, according to Wikipedia, Woodchucks have tons of calcium in their teeth, and thus the thought is that, with proper dental care, they can chuck a crap load of wood. How much????? Tis a mystery that eludes me.

None because a wood chuck cannot chuck wood!

But..........if he could chuck wood
"Sixteen and 1/2 board feet a day- except on Groundhog's Day since groundhog is another name for woodchuck."- This answer is according to no less an authority than the 'Junior Woodchucks Guidebook', a publication often consulted by Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck and referred to yet again by them in answering this very same question.

And no one can question the logic of Huey, Dewey and Louie. Was this on an episode of Ducktales?

See to me the "never settle" quote is you're saying that this person better be everything i'm looking for with no exceptions.Ok after you wake up you can try the old "good and bad" outweighs elimination process.Theres gonna be automatic deal breakers but if the interest is mutual then let the good and bad process begin.

Ya know the more i read what i typed it seems more like i'm typing about stocks....lol

Well, I tried just settling and the guy hit me from behind which permanently damaged my neck. So much for settling, eh. huh

If I bring up "The Virgin Dance of the Double Chainsaws" and she knows what I'm talking about...we're good to go.

Not my point he is a woman beater not me.My point is you won't find anyone w/o some flaws. In other words if you have a list of 1000 things you want in a person but they only have 999 qualifications you still wouldn't settle? So he has brown hair instead of black. That the point i'm getting at.

I don't think soemthing trivial as hair or eye colour is standards; that is being picky which is a hugh difference. Of course we all have flaws but its all in how bad the flaw is. For instance I am very active and into fitness but I have dated guys that have the beer belly and were couch potatoes. So, in essence they didn't meet my standards but I still gave them a chance.
