Say I (or someone you really like) stopped by your town. Where would you take "us"?

Into local pubs OR historical sites, roadside attractions, cool libraries, sittin on the curb drinkin a soda, smallest unicycle, biggest ball of twine, kickin it on your porch......Amuzement Park or quiet pasture.

What's up in your town?

Actually we would probably just go someplace and hang.

Might take you to this place I know where we could have a few drinks,
shoot the sheep, and play pinball.

Well, it would depend on the time of year. I live near a huge lake and this is bit of tourist town in the summer. This time of year we'd probably head for the town square first. Unlike many small towns these days, we still have a very active town square with the wonderful old time feel to it. Lots of interesting little shops to browse there or may be a drive around the lake. There are gobs of places to eat with a variety of foods to tickle your taste buds. We have a quaint little museum. Remember skating rinks? We will have one of those! A step back in time a bit here with a lot of the amenities of larger city.

Time of year in Dallas. I know clubs to dance/drink at, tourist spots/activities, ice skating (strangely enough no roller skating) and for the woomen, malls, malls, malls.

Historical sites and great bars/restaurants here are all within walking distance of each other. So, you can visit the State House, Naval Academy, go on ghost tours of the city, eat yummy seafood and drink good beer all in the same day.

I would take them crabbing.
You toss the trap right from the beach.
If the catch are of size, you cook them over
a beach fire, in ocean water, which is just
salty enough.
If you remember to take butter, that is
all you need, plus a pot :-)
Heaven, fresh and succulent.

Then I would walk them through a zillion little
out-of-the-way antique and junk shops.

Maybe a little banditing at the casino.
Which has a free shuttle, for imbibers :-)
