Hi Everyone, Is anyone else doing anything silly for Valentine's Day? My guy gets soooooo excited to get anything other than bills that I decided every time I walk in a store between now and Valentine's Day that is selling Valentine's Day cards, I have to as a game send him one and he has to keep them and add them up and see how many I can send him by Feb. 14th

My Birthday is like two days after valentine's day. Youd think someone would of gotten the hint of what I wanted for my Birthday last year.

I spend the night before valentines day and make homemade chocolate hearts for all my friends and I make an extra special one for my valentine. :) but I don't think it's going to be the same this year. I moved to WA and havnt made a single friend or have met a guy so it looks like my valentines chocolates are going to have to wait till next year...

Yeah I move from one state to another all the time. That stuff gets to you sometimes. It may not be the same, but you still should not beat yourself down on it. If you are able to still communicate with your old friends, maybe you can send some care packages.

Feb 14 is Tuesday so the previous Saturday there will be a gathering at a local bar/club down the road...think I'll mosey on in.

Valentines day, just another day for me, however, I do treat myself to a special dinner for me and a box of valentines chocolates, yes my butt is going to love me for that.

Whether I have a valentine or not, I love Valentines Day. It's the only day of the year I find romantic comedies acceptable. I don't know why people want to ruin it by sprouting all that "it's a marketing plot to get people to spend money" crap. I went to an all-girl high school and one year my friends and I did this secret valentine thing. You pick someone's name out of a hat and you buy them a valentines day present. It was fun.

I have done a few Valentines day's with my friends. Those of us that dont have "dates" do dinner and a movie. Life is what you make it. We enjoy the night out having fun. Sometimes we are a large crowd some times as few as 5 of us. But it is fun.

I'm the Grinch of Valentines Day. I either stay home or if I go out I just tell people "Happy Venereal disease day." .. VD. It makes sense. Nah, it's not that big of a deal to me if I wasn't single, I might enjoy it.
