90s music... the last REAL decade of semi-tolerable tunes Music is pathetic anymore. I blame it on these facts: 1. There's nothing left to 'sing' about. 2. Everyone wants to skip to the part where they make it, and there's no emotion put into their lyrics nor a contrasting beat to help satisfy the mood in which is trying to be portrayed. 3. Rappers focus far too much on rhyming over anything else. 4. People believe if you can dance to it, the lyrics don't matter. 5. Girls who proclaim, 'I'm not easy' love dancing to songs that state the exact opposite. 6. Youtube is becoming a place to go and become 'famous'. 7. Disney. 8. The music business has become even more of a business than it was in its earlier years. |

Not ALL new music is awful, it just seems to be the mainstream music that is just horrid.

1. Nah not true. The goal is to create the perfect song.
2. Nowadays fo sure 3. You forgot jiggling booties, money and drugs (ahem lil' wayne) 4. People believe if you can dance to it, the lyrics don't matter. 5.Not for me. Most of the dancing stuff talks way too much about sex. Dance songs back then were about dancing. I'd say the lyrics are everything in the song. 6. This is always true. Porn existed even in the 1800s. Ever heard of "entertainers"? Yep yep. 7. If it weren't for YT, SOME real genuion talent never see the light of day. Talking about indies here. But its abused now. 8. Oh SHUTS it. Now I'm offended. Though I admit the classics have gone stale. Alen Menken lost his edge. 9. Its just more amplified now. The business was always more important to the big guys in the suits. |

One problem with your list.. I only had 8? o.o As for Lil Wayne.. he's a douche. Can't stand him. Half the lyrics I read anymore, don't even make sense. They just rhyme. Entertainers, yes, youtube, no.. seeming as how they didn't have pc's in the 1800's let alone youtube. And I didn't mean ALL girls, just those who shake there *** to songs like, 'Ima stick on yur *** gurl' and no, I didn't mistype the title. xD That's how he sounds.
