I am deeply religious as any of you who follow me know. I HATE WHEN SOMETHING HORRIBLE HAPPENS AND SOMEONE SAYS "GOD HAS A REASON FOR EVERYTHING". Right now in my prayers, I am praying for Ms. Kim's friend who has a little boy with brain cancer in addition to all the other stuff in Well Wishes AND in my personal life. I DO NOT believe GOD had anything to do with that baby getting brain cancer. Some stuff in the universe is random. I have almost died a few times and while it does give you a better appreciation of life, I don't think GOD does it to people. Did God show up and pull my frying pan out of the fire those times? HECK YA. I refuse to attend the High Holiday services on principle. It is said on the Jewish New Year, your fate for the year is written and based on your prayers on the days of atonement it is sealed. SCREW THAT. I don't like the idea that in Sept. 2009, God decided my ex would lose it and hit me on 3/21/10 and I would file for divorce on 3/23/10. THAT WAS ALL ABOUT MY EX AND FREE WILL which God gives all humans. Any other opinions?

He also has the cure or outcome for all diseases. 1, "A Psalm of David. God has a reason for everything,
dnt doubt it, if u do, wy do u believe God exist?? Wy do we have wat is good and wat is bad, where does the air we breath in comes from, wy is there heaven and hell,wy are there sinners ????? There are lots of way thru which God tempts his people, he has a reason for making u cry,laugh,happy, rich and poor. Havent u being moving forward after all u've faced, for instance,i still call on God to save me in any situation i find myself, knwing fully well that he(God) has the power to avert the situation from happening at first |

I believe God has a reason for some things. When I came to make the coffee for the AA meeting, tonight I could hear someone making sounds in the other side of the church. It was our lady Pastor Rita Wilson. She let me know it was her and she reintroduced herself to me. We had talked before but she does a lot for the church so keeps pretty busy. She said before that she enjoyed having AA at the church she used to pastor before the church voted her in as the pastor of the church we have our meetings in. She hasn't asked me yet if I know Jesus but I did ask her if she knows Bill and Lois Wilson. She said she had never heard of them before. Next time I am going to tell her that any friend of Bill W. is a friend of mine.

God has a reason 4 evry tin, d word of God make us 2 undastand dat he knows evrytin b4 they happen and nothing comes 2 existence without God knowing of it. Come 2 think of it, God allowed Christ and many followers of Christ 2 suffer and go thru terrible situations, many were stoned, hanged and beheaded, do u tink God culdn't have averted these 4rm happening? Of course he culd bt he allowd it 4 a reason, rememba, God's ways are nt our ways. Pray 4 d healing of ur friends child and believe God can and as 4 ur divorce...talk 2 God and he will heal ur pain

There is a saying, You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
Like Plato, I think anyone of sense can follow his argument, I believe that until man can reason, he has no will at all. Doing what one pleases is not doing what one wills. Or one can look at it a third way, as I have outlined the previous 2. Every environmental acquisition system of a living organism must acquire something from the environment and with that abstraction make something that maintains and promotes the life of that organism. The human mind is among those sacred 7. Like every system, functionality is determined in terms of its given product. Man does not yet reason. Or in scriptural terms, he does not yet know judgment. So, you can use religion, philosophy, or science, or all three and realize, man does not have will at all. |

"God" (as I understand the term) does not get personally involved with individuals. (I believe there is a cure for every disease of mankind on this earth. High doses of Vitamin C has been demonstrated as a cure for cancer but it is not well published by the medical community. It is also against the law to treat cancer with vitamins.... go figure!!) There is no money to be made in curing cancer!! It is a huge industry. Huge! The law of vibration is automatic. "God" does not get personally involved with people and their diseases. There is a cause for every effect, therefore a "reason for everything." But it has to do with the law of vibration -- not "God." The law of vibration (the law of causation) is exact and automatic. |
