The #1 biggest mistake that I made was divorcing my first wife. I look back on our life together and realize that she was the best thing that ever happened to me.
She was the only one that truly understood me. But yet. Even with all my faults. She truly loved me. Even up to the day she died.

Same same

Biggest mistakes? It's more about what I didn't do, than what I did and wished I hadn't: Not learning more about my grandparents and their families; not telling certain people I love them, and not following my intuition more...

I'm sure someone's said this already...but my biggest mistakes are those that I don't learn from.

Sometimes we don't realize what a good thing we have until we lose it or throw it away.

Ditto.

You are bound to repeat them if you don't learn from them.

Mistakes are the best teachers. As long as your mistake doesn't get you killed.

I actually made one of those once. Something stepped in and showed me the errors of my ways.

I made a mistake once. I thought I was wrong.

Turns out, I was right after all.

I let a boyfriend move in who I really did not know well enough. I took him at face value. He was impressive in the community. He seemed to have a nice family. They lied out their azzea to me about him. I didn't heed warning signs like that we broke up three times and got back together in a short period of time. He is the one I refer to as "jerkface".

The biggest thing I regret is quitting school. I know it's not the biggest thing to some people.. I walked out when I was 15 and didn't graduate.. I managed to get into college at 17, I lasted about 2 years but didn't take it seriously. Partied all the time and didn't go to lectures half the time. Now at 23 I'm back at college, I have about 4 months left before I qualify, my friends and family are shocked that I didn't walk away when the going got tough. I've finally realised what I want to do with my life. I'm not wasting any more time :)

Chloe

We learn by experience, even the experience of hearing how others think. It is always wise to pick out some of the greatest thinkers in history, and listen to how they think, how they construct ideas and how they follow through with those thoughts. How they use words.

This one of the reasons I post the various translations of Plato on the Internet Archive.

Completely contact with someone I was in a long-distance relationship with. I constantly compare every one to him, and it irks me.
