I don't think there are any boundaries.............i'd travel as far as it took..................but only after getting to know someone for a very long time.....meeting after a week, or month is WAY TO EARLY to begin to know anything about each other, or what they're really all about.......thats just plain stupid! caring, and traveling to meet with someone, takes TIME...not days! wanting to rush meeting someone within a matter of weeks reeks DESPERATION!!!!

I think that if he lived outside of the UK, I would want him to come to me first time round...then I'd go to him.

mostly I agree but also when I am actively searching and it is feasible to meet fairly soon and HE wants to, I will - it helps to narrow the field so to speak

but with someone long distance...it would take time because I'm not interested in an LDR perse so it would take time and knowing a lot about someone to get me motivated for that

But would jump on plane and take a seat for 17 hours - as long as I pay the tickets!

the UK was lovely actually, we were in Wales, which is much greener and less industrial than what Im accustomed to and I loved it,,,,

he paid for everything, so after I had him thoroughly checked out, (the family has friends in high places believe it or not,,lol)....I went,,,,we also went to Mallorca Spain, which was ok but too impoverished for me to enjoy,,,,

I have never been to Wales but my brother worked in Cardiff for over a year and loved it. I have heard that once you leave the city, it is mostly rural - hills, valleys and lots of wide open spaces..have also heard that the Welsh are very welcoming.

I have also never visited Mallorca, but have been to other parts of Spain and the Canary Islands – have particularly fond memories of a place called Nerha in Spain as it was where my youngest was conceived .

I would also have 'the guy' checked out before travelling to another country to meet him and I hope he would do the same to me as you can never really be sure if the person that you're chatting to is who he/she says they are!

Don't think i will travel a long distance to meet someone, kind of scary..
n LDR is difficult to maintain..

Possibilities are limitless when you feel so strongly for someone. I don't rule anything out but right now finding something more local is ideal. Though I tend to have more luck OUTSIDE my radius more often lately.
