Acceptance of oneself is contentment....not humility perhaps you can supply that scope by explaining why acceptance of oneself is humility and why it's not being content with onself You are obviously struggling with great difficulty to explain something you do not understand. You are not wiser, more intelligent, or better educated than all the people here who are trying to explain humility to you. To understand it, you must have it. once upon a time the majority of people was trying to explain how the world was flat to the one that claim that it was round Ineffectual dodge. Please read post again. I'm being humble and trying to allow you to explain what humility is using your own thoughts... if you can... You are not, in any way, being humble. Far from it in fact. Humility is a concept dealing with the learned value of your fellow human beings and the knowledge that you are not superior to them ... a concept you apparently struggle with daily. Your comparison with the world being flat is inaccurate. A better comparison would be you as a landlubber explaining the art of sailing to a bunch of sailors. You simply can't find the words and don't understand the concept so you substitute subservience or variations thereof in an attempt to sound knowledgeable and superior, which of course proves the opposite. |

Knowing the value of others is also knowing the value of self. Knowing the value of self is a major part of self-acceptance. Knowing the value of self is a major part of self-acceptance. Servitude has NOTHING to do with the concept no matter how hard you try to force it. One can be servile and humble but one can be humble without being subservient. Your lack of understanding is showing. generally people conmment on the lack of understanding and intelligence of others because they lack it theirself ...it's a sign of insecurity, it's a way to keep others from calling them stupid when they say/type something stupid but anyway ...knowing the values of others do not make one humble...it makes them knowledgeable... |
