Humility is the ability to place oneself into a mental state that exhibit low self esteem or servitide

No way. Humble has nothing to do with low self esteem or servitude. I know so many bad azz military guys who are See Bees and stuff and throw together entire compounds in one night and HUMBLE, they let me change my own door knobs in front of them even though they could do it in fifteens seconds and it's going to take me a half hour. Humble is, they hand me the right screw driver because they know it is my self esteem at sake.

first you claim the humility has nothing to do with low self esteem

humility always deals with a state of exhibiting low-esteem or servitude ...whether it's the one that's trying to be humble or the ones that are not

I am not going to battle you. Being modest and considerate of another's feelings IS NOT LOW SELF ESTEEM OR SERVITUDE. A guy letting me do something he could do better and faster is like not cheating a child at Candyland unfairly. It's being a nice person.

it is often those with very high self esteem that are most humble

and those with the least self esteem that prop themselves up with bragging

being a nice person doesn't require one to be humble ....you only have to respect the rights of others...humility requires that you bow down to them

Acceptance Of Oneself!

There you go summed up in three words!!...Also humility, the ability to be humble is just the opposite of low self esteem ...One must have high self esteem in order to treat others with dignity and forethought...

One must not only accept oneself, one must "know" who that self is....

Rand even goes a Step further and rejects Humility all-together!
And in the Sense she applies,I would too!I definitely reject the the religious implications of the Term!

There is no more despicable coward than the man who deserted the battle for his joy, fearing to assert his right to existence, lacking the courage and the loyalty to life of a bird or a flower reaching for the sun. Discard the protective rags of that vice which you call a virtue: humility—learn to value yourself, which means: to fight for your happiness—and when you learn that pride is the sum of all virtues, you will learn to live like a man.

Humility and presumptuousness are always two sides of the same premise, and always share the task of filling the space vacated by self-esteem in a collectivized mentality. The man who is willing to serve as the means to the ends of others, will necessarily regard others as the means to his ends.

Self-abasement is the antithesis of morality. If a man has acted immorally, but regrets it and wants to atone for it, it is not self-abasement that prompts him, but some remnant of love for moral values—and it is not self-abasement that he expresses, but a longing to regain his self-esteem. Humility is not a recognition of one’s failings, but a rejection of morality. “I am no good” is a statement that may be uttered only in the past tense. To say: “I am no good” is to declare: “—and I never intend to be any better.”

think it over, and apply a wider scope this time!

perhaps you can supply that scope by explaining why acceptance of oneself is humility and why it's not being content with onself

You are obviously struggling with great difficulty to explain something you do not understand. You are not wiser, more intelligent, or better educated than all the people here who are trying to explain humility to you. To understand it, you must have it.

to me that big picture is only a thumbnail

an individual that claim they are humble because of self-acceptance....is bragging

this is why humility is a judgement that others make about you, not a judgement that one claim of oneself
