honestly, in my opinion because of their diet.
diet influences what you are... like that one saying "you are what you eat" remember? haha they eat a lot of fish(omega 3) and a healthy diet(a lot of green tea too) compared to us fat americans haha. anyways there country is getting a lot westernized so there diet has changed for their younger generations. same goes my home country korea |

My friend who was in SHOCK AND AWE despite being a trained Japanese translator originally for the army, moved there and refuses to come home. He tells me a lot about it. As a Jew, there are a lot of similarities as far as what is expected of a parent. We have our 2000+ commandments and they have their thing. But things like education, literacy, teaching your child a trade, honor, etc. are common between the two. Parenting is taken very seriously.
