Oh yeah! Love it. I was there when the original came out, the audience participation was fun. I think the kids where I lived, went like every week for a while.

I introduced my kids to it a few years ago and they cracked up. We watch it every so often and they know all the songs too. My son can imitate the voice of Riff Raff quite well. LOL.

For some reason, I didn't care for The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The 35th anniversary edition is on Blu Ray. I got it for my sister in law.

I liked Shock Treatment a bit better.

I first watched this only a month ago, but i know it off by heart almost. Very funny and a great pastiche of the old 1950s sci-fi movies. Does anyone else like it?

Great soundtrack too. glasses
Its the second best, thing next to sex!

Ive dressed up in Hollywood, and seen it, over 50 times,

and I would do it again, in a heartbeat!

"Cause im a sweet transvestite, from transexual, Transylvania!".

Recently re watched the British 80's series Robin Of Sherwood(the best version of Robin Hood I think), Richard "Riff Raff" O'Brien had a recurring role as a villain...and he was fantastic.

RHPS completed my education :) It truly is a rite of passage.

I introduced my ex to it last november, she didn't get it.

I am all for remakes, but I think they should leave this one alone, I dont think anyone can beat Tim Curry's performance in it.

IMHO it was his best work, he did get a lot of practice though being in the original stage show.

If you had the chance who would you cast as Frank n Furter in the remake and why?

LOVE the original, have sat my daughters down after we were at a wedding and the dj played Time Warp and they thought it was a fun dance. They love the movie and have it memorized. My younger daughter is in love with Tim Curry.laugh

I think they should leave it alone and not do a remake, but if they did I bet they would get Russel Brand to play Frank....and it would suck.sick

That's what I mean, that is just his persona and he would "walk" through it thinking he was doing fantastic... I don't really like him.

LOVE RHPS!!
A few years ago me and my now ex husband did Dr. Frankenfurter amnd Magenta for Halloween and won the costume contest. I could sing every song in my sleep.

Since you guys keep mentioning Richard O'Brien--If you watch the movie " Ever After" with Drew Barymore- he plays Monsier Le Pew.
I almost died when I realized that.

Its just a jump to the left................................

O'Brien pops up in the most random films, he plays Timothy Dalton's right hand man in Flash Gordon.

Loved it and learned the dance to "Let's do the time warp again". Hadn't heard of Shock Treatment but will look out for it.

Richard O'B also hosted a gameshow called the Crystal Maze many years ago as well.

Also agree that Robin of Sherwood was best adaptation to date.

Your right it would suck, even though Russell is a good comedian, he is a crap actor.

O'Brien is awesome, met him once at a show a few years ago, I didnt realise though that he is 70 this year!

And then a step to the right:banana:

With your hands on your hips:banana:

You bring your knees in tight:banana:

But it's the pelvic thrust:banana:

That really drives you insane:banana:

Let's do the Time Warp again:banana:

LOVE IT, went several times back in college

I LOVE the audience interaction and I think Tim Curry is the best man with womanly attributes EVER,,,

the lyrices of the songs were PERFECT

and the characters were so colorful and extreme,,,,
