...as for me... I'm the type to be pursued. I've been rejected far too much as the pursuer. So, I chil-lax. However... If I see someone truly worth pursuing.. I hide in the bushes.. And ninja grab her when she walks by. Stash her in my koala suit. And no one's the wiser. :]

Definitely not a problem. I have a female friend on here and she receives dozens of e-mails a day. I have been on here for years and received a dozen e-mails. LOL There are guys that send out cut and paste intro's and play the numbers, personally I read a profile and send a note if I see common interests. Replies are few and far between, I am sure this is because my notes get lost in the crowd. (That's my story and I am sticking to it) If you see someone that interests you send a note, you never know! Good luck in your search. You ladies have the advantage here, use it!

I tend to take the Mohammed vs mountain approach to online dating because it's about finding someone that I'm compatible with. Mohammed vs Mountain approach? o.O Oh girl do tell! :D Depends...you gotta a mountain costume?

I mean how can you REALLY know if you want to date someone until you get to know them a little and know if there is any kind of spark there at all or you are just friends? I mean I do get blasted by insecure types because I do keep around the guys who are just friends. But these insecure types are so dumb. In life, my guy friends are like "what did you get him for his birthday? don't forget his birthday". "You know he has feelings too and I would be pizzed if you treated me that way. You should really apologize".

It is not desperate at all and it is difficult for either sex to make the 1st move, if you are secure enough to make the 1st move I say go for it otherwise you might miss out simply because he was to scared to make the 1st move. I can be very shy and like when she show interest 1st, there is nothing wrong with it at all and I encourage it.
