OK, just got my e-ticket with my schedule. I'm at the Chicago studio from Dec 6th till Dec 24th. You know what this means, the whole season is over for me. You know what else this means? You guys got to do it up right so I can read about it. I'm going to see if they will hook me up with a computer there. If so I'll be able to follow all of your Christmas fun.

So as far as I am concerned the Christmas season is officially on. I want to hear about your Thanksgiving all the way up through the big day.

Oh and let me say for the record Happy Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas does not end till Janaury 6th in my home. You have time to celebrate it :)


Daughter is hosting Thanksgiving in her new home this year. Her first of many. I do not mind handing over the tourch for this job. Of course I will be there to help her. Life is changing. And it's wonderful.


I purchased a new tree this year. It will be my First tree in 5 years. Maybe on christmas moring I will have someone sitting under it for me . I can dream. This is my oldest daughters last year as a single woman. I suspect in a few years I will have a Grandchild to celebtate with and then the circle will be completed.

Christmas, i can't wait, we are ready to start putting up our decorations, we have a huge christmas kangaroo to go out in the yard, a big thong an aussie ball with our flag and a santa hiding in the dunny.
should be so cool, and since we are used to having Chrissy in 100 degree heat if it snows here it will be soooo cool.

our chirstmas isn't till the first weekend of January having a big family everyone is scattered we use the real christmas for people around here then that weekend the whole family gets together there are over 20 of us together not inlcuding other relatives lol

I love this stuff! Thanks so much! I love reading about peoples Holidays. I stay to myself during these times. If I'm not working I'm enjoying taking in other's Christmas values. I also love walking through the strip resorts during the season.

Since I am feeling utterly full of life.... I will be having the folks (Mom & Pop)& My 22 yr old Son over for a huge feast with all the trimmings..... After we stuff ourselves, We relax & Catch up, Remembering when's, Looking through Photo albums of the huge Family Gathering's. Filling the lil guys head with all the Family Traditions of the Past. Then....... We put up the Tree & Decorate it listening to the seasons wonderful music.
It shall be the Best!!!!!

We pretty much stopped celebrating christmas when I was 11, so we all just do our own thing on this day. If someone is in the mood to cook christmas lunch, that's okay, but there's no big family get together where we all sit down and eat it.

That being said, I still love the holidays! The decorations, the christmas carols, Santa!!! It always puts me in a good mood

Since I dont have family or much friends, my Thanksgiving is going to be spent at home watching movies. Then going to Hometown buffet for my Thanksgiving dinner.

I havent picked out the movies yet. And the buffet is great. I go there atleast 2 times a week to eat.

I have to work half a day today and then I will start my Thanksgiving holiday. Gonna feed the short people and my parents tomorrow. Have a great holiday everyone and eat more than is humanly possible!
