If I had my choice, she'd be divorced from my dreams as well, but unfortunately my ex wife likes to frequent my subconscious. Not in a sexual way, just a persistent character.

My brother tells me he has bothersome dreams about an ex of his as well. Mine aren't bothersome to me, but I'd prefer her erased from my resting hours.

Do you have any unwanted vapors of the past still lingering while you're off in slumberland? If not, any interesting reoccurring dreams you'd like to share?

I run and then take off flying in my dreams.....and

can see in every direction....and there is just this awesome

peace....makes me wonder about what's really happening in

dreams....

I don't think man has even come close to

really figuring dreams out yet.

Interesting subject, HawaiiMuaikMan

Thanks Morningsong flowerforyou

Yea, the flying ones are pretty cool. I get those from time to time as well. I don't like the ones where your teeth fall out. That one happened a few nights ago

...or when you wake up from a dream and don't realize you're still dreaming, then "wake up" another time and find you're still dreaming. Sometimes it's hard to find the way out

I haven't really been bothered by my ex in my dreams lately. Occasionally I'll have nightmares about my creepy stalker, but usually my dreams don't express my fears as people but as -shudder- snakes.

I'm just glad that Hawaii doesn't have snakes scared

Me ex only makes her way into a small percentage of my dreams but I'd much rather that percentage be zero.

BTW, I'm not so creepy once you get to know me

I am determined this topic will go to two or three pages, even in the wee hours of the night. Yes, I'm that vain

There's not that many snakes here, just in my dreams.

I know what you mean, an ex in a dream can instantly turn it into a nightmare just by their presence.

Oh, I wish it were as simple as online stalking! THAT I have no problem with.

Mind if i share my dream?

I want to hear it! I love people's dreams.

Have you had the dream where you are eating the world's biggest marsh mallow and you wake up to find that your pillow is missing?

No but I had a dream I was eating my pillow and woke up to my dog being gone.

Even though I have a fear of heights I never had a fear of flying in my dreams.

Yes, I still have reoccuring dreams of my past relationship. Last night I had a dream that we were back together and I was reading all his letters that he never sent. While reading them I didn't realize that he cared for me that much and missed me that much. The letters were weird tho...all folded in different patterns.

I stopped having nightmares in 1996, when a
childhood abuser died.
Now I only have good dreams.
I cannot tell you what about.
I am a naughty, dirty, bad girl :-)

I don't have dreams about the past anymore, I think my imagination was in over drive when I was young..
The only unwanted dream I have, and I haven't had it in a long, long time, is the one when you wake up startled because you thought you were falling, falling from something vague but high and dangerous !!

I am sure this had meaning and probably not positive meaning and am glad it has disappeared...When I dream now, I dream happy stuff...Truth be told, I either don't dream a lot or I don't remember my dreams....Guess I am a sound sleeper...biggrin
